He has had a career paths that include being a teacher, a minster, and for nearly 30 years a counselor in public education. He is the founder of In Motion Counseling - a researched based curriculum offering programs and courses that also use Biblical concepts in assisting others in the journey towards lasting change. He’s authored several publications including, “The Grief Journey: Finding Peace in All of Life's Losses” Since 2016, Dr. Sumerlin has also served as Dean & Professor of the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry & Theology.

David Bruce is originally from Oklahoma but was wondering in Moscow, Russia when he was met and became a Christ-follower in 1991. A few years later he met his wife, Cece in Stockholm and have been married 26 years. 2 children  After addressing his own personal addiction to pornography and embracing a recovery lifestyle within his Christian walk, David decided to go back to grad school and become a therapist. David has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2008 but also has worked as an Addiction Medicine counselor in clinical setting for over 15 years. David currently works part-time as an LMFT and with his wife serves in the ministry in Los Angeles. David specializes in chemical and behavioral addictions, depression, anxiety and couples' therapy.

Kyle Spears is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Certified Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nebraska. He works in private practice at the Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska utilizing EMDR in working with Complex Trauma, PTSD, and DID. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, he works to help heal marriages and complex family issues. He also specializes in helping men with trauma, masculinity, and depression. Last year he started a YouTube channel and a podcast and has a website where people can go to get resources for issues that relate to trauma and theology. Kyle is currently working on his first book that will provide a basic understanding of trauma to equip both ministers and members. He is also working on a book with Michael Burns called the “The Big Lie” that will address the aspect of racial and intergenerational trauma.
