Each week will dissect the walk of faith as we have the hard conversations to grow deeper relationships with God. This right here is for my girls who have endured trauma BUT have a lot of Jesus!

Through the story of Hagar in Genesis 16 and the life of Job, you will begin to see that God is not absent in your situation. He is establishing who He is in your life, even when it does not feel like it.

Many times we focus so much on what we are going through that we miss what God is showing us about Himself. This episode will encourage you to shift your focus back to God, trust His presence, and recognize how He is moving even now.

This episode marks the sacred beginning of The Gospel Is for Me series on the Trauma to Testimony podcast.

Instead of teaching or storytelling, this episode is an opening prayer—a moment to pause, surrender, and invite the Holy Spirit to lead us into healing, truth, and transformation.

For many trauma survivors, believing that the gospel is truly for us can feel difficult. Pain, shame, and past experiences can distort how we see God, ourselves, and our story. In this prayer, we intentionally lay down those lenses and ask God to realign our hearts with His truth.

This prayer invites God to:

Heal what trauma has touched
Refine us through sanctification
Restore our spiritual vision
Awaken discernment and obedience
Reignite faith, hope, and trust in Jesus

There is no rush here. No pressure to perform. Just space for the Holy Spirit to move.

The woman at the well had a generational history and history in her past that would not leave her and had her trapped until she encountered Jesus. After the encounter, her history was an offering for her to come into salvation. Today we learn how we as Christian Trauma Survivors can heal through the woman at the well's story and not become trapped by our history.
