girl dinner explained by a fellow girl15 août 202300:08:18

"Girl dinner" is a TikTok trend that centers around the ideas of how some girls might enjoy eating or combining foods in "interesting" ways that may or may not be nourishing or well presented.

Some creators of this trend lean more towards healthier options, such as (very little) salads, smoothie bowls, fresh fruits, and vegetables, while some have drinks like iced coffee and smoothies.

how to know what you really want and go for it w/@cpritch.coaching09 août 202300:40:15

Regardless of other people's expectations of us, sometimes the things we fear, the worst-case scenarios that are holding us back, aren't always that bad. What if we though and asked ourselves instead, what's the best that could happen?

This is one of my favourite episodes. Enjoy!!

what they don't tell you about healthy relationships02 août 202300:14:16

In this episode, I talk about building and maintaining healthy relationships.

From previously only being concerned with the idea of being in a relationship, to now, navigating one in a healthy way, improving my communication skills, growing and learning to appreciating the importance of my friendship with women as well, and how I found a meaningful connection with another person.

There's also a little advice at the end for navigating relationships as a young person (in their 20s).

what was I made for? - a dramatic title to express the feelings of being uninspired and when things don't go as planned26 juil. 202300:10:55

What what I made for? Do I really have something to prove to myself or other people? I think most of us at some point are scared of the realization that our dreams are not a given, we'd have to work for it. I've found that there's an element of luck, but there's also a lot of hard work that goes unseen.

After her rant about the trials of being creative, Kenny is back with another point of existentialism.

Here's to our crazy scary dreams and the possibility of fulfilling them!

how much self improvement is enough? *overly self-aware*31 mai 202300:16:19

Is Gen Z suffering from their own intelligence? Knowing too much, feeling too much. Are GenZs too self-aware?

There's currently an overwhelmingness of information floating around from Tiktok to Podcasts and Instagram. Do you feel bombarded with information that makes you question certain aspects of your life such as working a 9 to 5, being in relationships, how much money you could be making, life lessons, life goals, trauma, mental health issues, neurodivergence, being black, and so forth? It feels like we simply know too much, which is good knowledge, but access to all this information makes me constantly question my actions, feelings, motives and simply because I would like to be the most optimal version of myself. How much self-improvement is enough self-improvement?

is it lucky girl syndrome or was it just your time? 10 mai 202300:14:02

If you've recently come across videos titled Lucky Girl Syndrome or Being Delusional or Manifesting the life that you want, then you're likely on the side of TikTok that I'm on! I've seen and watched multiple videos about how you just have to believe that all good things come to you and they will. There's even a song about it. But just how realistic is this phenomenon or maybe it isn't meant to be realistic in the first place, believing in what we don't see. Isn't that religion or faith to some extent? Maybe this is just another form of praying and hoping that our dreams come true. But not everyone's going to be as lucky as the Lucky Girls say. Regardless, has this worked for you?

For example, not acknowledging that something bad had happened by saying "things could be worse", or pretending that you don't feel negative feelings at all by saying "good vibes only" . There are both ways of hiding the truth about how we actually feel at a particular period, and we might be better off being more honest with ourselves about our feelings, and being more open to sharing our frustrations with others as well.
