My story begins 3 years ago with an unfortunate event of a chemical eye injury that led me on a health journey to heal my body. I was really in a dark place for a long time and the dry eye community was essential in pulling me out. They say that truly bad events can bring such purpose in your life and this reigns true for me. While I wish I never had my injury, I am extremely thankful because so much changed in my life. This is my way to give back to the dry eye community. We will talk health, wellness, support, and community from experts and real people, like you and I!

XII. Anoushka K

Season 1 · Episode 12

vendredi 29 septembre 2023Duration 46:33

All the way from India, Anoushka is making waves in her company that is producing innovative technology for prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment for those at risk and with dry eye. As a mild dry eye sufferer herself, Anoushka is working on the app, EyeD, that helps people "remember" to blink while using their devices! She talks to individuals with dry eye disease and is collecting information to improve the software so it can be an all encompassing app to help guide you through your good and bad days! I love that they are actively including dry eye patients in it's development and that's why we need your help!!

Download EyeD on the Google Play Store, soon to be on Apple App Store, to learn simple exercises, get reminders for breaks from your device, and be alerted when you are not blinking enough!! Anoushka knows that we can't just be off our devices, but we need to know how to use them with some safety measure, so we do not suffer more with our dry eye. Then, please connect with Anoushka and provide ways to improve the app! What are you looking for in an all emcompassing app to help you navigate your dry eye?!?!?

If you have questions or comments, you can email Autoyos at info@autoyos.com. Anoushka K can also be reached on most dry eye support communities on Facebook. I wish her the best on her dry eye journey!
