In the latest episode of Thread Talks, we are thrilled to welcome Award-winning hair stylist, Author and Entrepreneur, the remarkable Charlotte Mensah. 

Charlotte’s inspiring journey began in UK, before moving to Ghana and back to the UK, where she discovered her passion for hairstyling after the loss of her mother. By styling her own hair and that of her sisters, she found joy in a challenging time.

Globally recognised for her work in the hair industry, Charlotte founded, Hair Lounge, a groundbreaking hair salon on Portobello road in the 90s and launched her own haircare line, Manketti Oil, which celebrates natural textures. Hair Lounge has grown into a great place for community and family, bringing people together and embracing beautiful hair.

With support from the Princes Trust, she has not only built a thriving business but also mentors the alumni of the trust and aspiring hair stylists through her charity, Love, named in honour of her mother.
