We're back! After a hiatus from some seasonal life endeavors Corbie & Kaitlyn jump back to finish season 2 with an organic conversation on AI. One of the hottest topics in the tech world and in education is AI and how to integrate it into schools and the classroom. Kaitlyn & Corbie share their opinions on AI in general and what it might mean for artists and art students. Is it possible to integrate AI into the art room and should we? Corbie and Kaitlyn have an open dialogue exploring the ethical and conceptual concerns of AI in art.

In this episode Corbie and Kaitlyn interview art educator Allison Stucky. Allison is a Kansas native, artist and currently an elementary art teacher running a T.A.B art room. Allison shares her 15 years of teaching in a T.A.B art room that highlights her classroom structure and teaching format. We question what is authentic art assessment and how does Allison approach this idea within a T.A.B classroom. Allison shares how she found her voice through teaching T.A.B and various nuggets of wisdom about balancing a personal life alongside teaching.

In this lighthearted episode Corbie and Kailyn check in about the beginning of the school year. They get real about their feelings and some changes that are underway in their classrooms. Then they dive into sharing their favorite and least favorite mediums to teach students. While discussing the triumphs and tribulations, they share some of their favorite supplies that help make teaching a few things a little less cumbersome.

Art teachers know managing supplies is not an easy task! And budgeting how to get your students what they need can be tough when we have limited funding. In this episode Corbie and Kaitlyn give an overview of their budget situations and dive into how their experiences have shaped how they manage their supplies.

Kaitlyn is currently at a school with a tiny budget. Corbie is at a school with more in her budget than usual; but her previous experiences have taught her how to stretch the dollar. Both share suggestions on ways to get creative to build up your budget or art supply inventory no matter what your situation may be!
