3.16 Mars and Venus in the Bedroom [Part 5 of 5 of the Conscious Sexuality Series]01 Mar 202200:47:22

In today’s episode, Anna leads, discussing another book of John Gray, PhD, author of “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.” In “Mars and Venus in the Bedroom,” Gray dives deeper into the nuances of sexual behavior, psychology, and performance. Are quickies “allowed” in your relationship? How well do you communicate in bed? Is the way to a man’s heart really through sex? What are the secrets to great passion? We hope to answer all these questions and more, on today’s episode of “This Spiritual Fix.”

“Eroticism in the home requires active engagement and willful intent. It is an ongoing resistance to the message that marriage is serious, more work than play; and that passion is for teenagers and the immature. We must unpack our ambivalence about pleasure, and challenge our pervasive discomfort with sexuality, particularly in the context of family. Complaining of sexual boredom is easy and conventional. Nurturing eroticism in the home is an act of open defiance.” - Esther Perel

3.06 The Mother Wound Part II: Embracing the Chaos of Love21 Dec 202101:05:40

Happy Solstice!

In this second part of a three part series on The Mother Wound, Kristina dives into the deeper layer of the Mother Wound: the pain we carry with respect to The Great Mother - the feminine aspect of creation. The Great Mother is maya. Maya, comes from Advaita Vedanta philosophy, which is a branch of Hinduism which subscribes to the idea of non-duality. That is, ultimately we are all one. In this context, maya is “the magic power with which a god can make human beings believe in what turns out to be an illusion. By extension, it later came to mean the powerful force that creates the cosmic illusion that the phenomenal world is real. For the Nondualists, maya is thus that cosmic force that presents the infinite brahman (the supreme being) as the finite phenomenal world. Maya is reflected on the individual level by human ignorance (ajnana) of the real nature of the self, which is mistaken for the empirical ego but which is in reality identical with brahman” (Britannica, 2021). In this episode two silly best friends break down this philosophy to make accessing and healing The Great Mother Wound palpable for all.

Also discussed today: extraterrestrials, alien technology, John Lennon, Ram Dass, Stevie Nicks, and more.

The Four Steps to Healing the Mother Wound with Two Tools

1. Access:

  1. Ask: am I being hypersensitive or hyposensitive?
  2. Ask: do I deeply experience the injustice of gender roles or environmental injustices?

2. Awareness

  1. Ask: do I trust myself?
  2. Ask: when and why am I closing my heart?

3. Process

  1. Transmute your energy to the earth, i.e. dig a hole and scream into it.
  2. Expand your heart: imagine or feel your heart expanding horizontally, vertically, anteriorly, posteriorly, inferiorly, superiorly (essentially in all directions).

4. Rememberance

  1. Connect to the deeper truth: Love is always being given.
  2. Connect to the deeper truth: She is always with us.

2.19 In My Wildest Dreams12 Oct 202101:02:22

Are you a dreamer? Dreams are a lot more significant in our lives than most people give them credit for. They can provide key insights into shadow work (Access Awareness, Processing) as well as give us multidimensional and prophetic experiences. Kristina leads this episode where two best friends delve into fun dream stories, hacks, and tips for how you can interpret and remember your dreams better.

  • Access Dreams: optimal when wanting to address your shadow but don't know where to start.
  • Awareness Dreams: optimal when you have access to your shadow and want to learn more.
  • Processing Dreams: optimal when you have crossed a hurdle in your shadow work, and need some "downtime" to process your emotions.
  • Prophecy Dreams: often predicts illness, pregnancy, birth. Often overly symbolic in nature.
  • Divine Message Dreams: these often come when you least expect them. The message and messenger is often very clear. The dream feels, “more than a dream.”
  • Harmonizing Dreams: optimal after a large process, download, or spiritual initiation. Usually include waking up in the middle of the night, at say 1:11 am, 4:44 am, etc.
  • Lucid Dreaming: includes any of the above-mentioned dreams but with heightened awareness of dreaming, and the ability to control aspects of the dream.

2.12 Reflections on The Drama Triangle24 Aug 202100:51:06

How has stepping back from the drama triangle changed your life? In today’s episode Anna and Kristina reflect upon the lessons presented in the drama triangle series and how this work has impacted their lives, personally, professionally, and romantically.

Also discussed in today’s episode: Dorito chip crumbs, Next-level rescuing, and enhancing psychic abilities.

Anna & Kristina’s Hacks for Stepping Out of the Drama Triangle:

  1. Ask directly for your needs to be met.
  2. Before asking for your needs, make sure you are acting and not reacting (only bringing up the issue at hand).
  3. Address your needs as they arise (don’t wait and then explode).
  4. Address your inner drama triangle (your inner persecutor, inner victim, and inner rescuer).
  5. Practice self-love.
  6. When triggered, ask yourself, “Do I want to be the victim/persecutor/rescuer today?, “Is there really cheese at the end of this tunnel?” “How can I get my needs met without drama?”
  7. Forgive all parts of you: the victim, the persecutor, the rescuer, and the annoyed witness.

Deep within the recesses of our mind lives the Shadow. Have you seen her? Does he call you? The Shadow is the part of us we hide, and it propels us towards conflict and self-sabotage. Carl Jung says of the Shadow, “no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real.”

In this episode of This Spiritual Fix, two best friend discuss their Shadows, or Dark Passengers. Where did their Dark Passenger comes from? How can we see it as something that doesn’t need “fixing” but just loving? Learn how the Dark Passenger plays the internal Persecutor role in the drama triangle.
