Her journey into compassion began when she became a vegetarian in her mid-20s, and since then, she has embraced a fulfilling vegan lifestyle, driven by her deep love and respect for animals.
In her quest to make a tangible difference, Gita ventured into Farm Sanctuary in New York, answering the call to support their noble mission. Here, she found her true calling, working in the Education Department. Overseeing events, conducting farm tours, and lending a hand in the gift shop, she spread awareness and love for the animals she cared for deeply.
When life presented her with a crossroads, Gita seized the opportunity to pursue her dream of running a sanctuary of her own. She transformed her house into a beautiful and inviting B&B, nestled within a garden oasis she lovingly cultivated.
As a certified Yoga/Meditation instructor, Gita's connection to mindfulness and tranquility shines through in the serene atmosphere she creates at her B&B. Her guests find not only a place to rest their heads but a sanctuary where they can reconnect with nature and themselves.
