EP39: Kielyn Marrone ↣ Finding Joy in an Arctic Playground
Episode 39
mardi 20 août 2024 • Duration 01:53:38
Kielyn Marrone is back from the Wild Wild North!
Despite covering a ton of good-n-deep stuff in our last episode… Robin and Kie barely scratched the surface on her career as an expedition guide in Canada. So, thankfully she's agreed to gear up, slap on her snowshoes and dive deep into life as an extreme winter-wilderness expert.
This one’s got a bunch of fantastic stories, all told with her trademark: let’s-make-lemonade-from-lemons attitude, best enjoyed with lots of ice.
Thanks again to Kielyn for all the entertainment!

EP029: Ejler's Ocean ↣ tales from the sea¹
Episode 29
mardi 28 mai 2024 • Duration 01:54:56
The homesteading, veggie growing, fish-slaying artist known as Ejler is back!
Fishing season is just around the corner — not one to hold his cards close to his chest, in this episode Ejler casually throws down a killer-hand of stories and tactics from the ocean. This is hard-earned knowledge from over 40 years spent fishing local waters in a wooden row-boat, designed and constructed by his own fair hand. If you haven’t had the chance to listen to his earlier episodes, then we we highly recommend you circle back and hear the many adventures that made Ejler the man he is today.
A big thanks again to Ejler for being such an open (and entertaining) book!
And thanks to everyone listening. If you want to hear more, then be sure to give The Wild Dispatch a follow/subscribe so you never miss an episode.
If you want to send Ejler a message then the simplest thing to do would be to send me the message on Insta, I’ll call him on his landline and pass it along. Leave a 60s voice message and it might even make its way into a future episode!

Steve Rogers is the owner of Orkney Shooting Holidays - North East of the Scottish mainland. It's here on the beautiful island of Orkney Island that Steve spends as many days as he can getting his clients under the geese.
Thanks again Steve for being so open with his stories, and for all the tips and tricks around everything wingshooting!

Episode 27
mardi 14 mai 2024 • Duration 02:13:19
Cole Wilks has been putting wild meat on the table (and in the freezer) since he was a kid. Spending months of each year hunting with a bow, it's unsurprising that he's an absolute pro at wilderness survival.

Ep025: The magic of Warthogs and double-bearded turkeys ↣ Robin Warman
Episode 25
mardi 30 avril 2024 • Duration 01:00:14
Today we're doing things a little different: 'TWD - In The Field' is a shorter format recorded out in the wild, capturing moments, as they happen. The Wild Dispatch will continue to churn out its 'normal programming' but every few weeks one of these experiential nuggets will pop up in the feed.
In this Episode Robin narrates a turkey bow-hunt live, as it happens. Then takes a break to reflect on the first 25 episodes of TWD, the importance of work/life balance, and how much fun it is chasing warthogs in South Africa. Note one story about pursuing a particularly large warthog back in the Eastern Cape who we dubbed Sir. Tuskalot. Video evidence on Instagram.
We'd love your thoughts on this new format. Send us a message on the Insta link below👇
