So grab your coffee or favorite beverage, settle in, and join us for a heartfelt dialogue about transformation, purpose, and the next evolution of WEBB Squared and the launch of WEBB KiDDZ.
In this kickoff episode of The WEBB Remedy Podcast "Money Mindset Conversation Series", hosts Rinnie Orr and Stephanie Terry talk with Venus Myles, Senior Vice President and Carolinas Market Manager for PNC Community Development Banking, to explore how our beliefs about money shape the way we do business.
From pricing and hiring to investing and risk-taking, mindset plays a powerful role in all financial decision entrepreneurs make. Venus brings both practical banking expertise and deep community insight to help listeners move from fear to clarity — and from a scarcity to abundance mindset.
Together, they unpack what it means to build a healthy relationship with your banker, how to prepare for funding, and why mindset is just as important as money when it comes to business growth.
In This Episode:
What “community development banking” really means — and how it supports entrepreneurs
How scarcity thinking shows up in business decisions (and how to reframe it)
Practical steps to prepare for funding and protect your business
How PNC Bank supports entrepreneurs beyond capital — through education, partnerships, and community programs

Welcome to Season 6 "Cultivating a Trust Mindset" series of The WEBB Remedy Podcast.
Meet "The WEBB Remedy" hosts:
Stephanie Terry, Executive Director and Co-Founder of WEBB Squared
Rinnie Orr, Associate Director and Co-Founder of WEBB Squared
At WEBB Squared, we’ve made “trust” the focal point of our theme this year: "With Trust, We Bridge the Gap; Together, We Move Forward." It’s a simple statement, but trust is not always as straightforward as it sounds. When it comes to building businesses, trust plays a pivotal role in overcoming systemic barriers — the kind that have been shaped by history, policy, and culture.
This season we share several conversations on trust. Trust is a mindset - and contrary to what people believe - trust is not some soft, elusive quality that you either have or you don’t. Trust - though it is easily destroyed, it can be built -it can be restored, and when that happens, not only do your relationships grow, so do opportunities and efficiency in terms of business. Trust is a tangible, actionable asset that you can create.

"Before we can manage it, we have to understand it!"
Have you ever thought about how your brain and mind work? While they aren't exactly brain scientists, Stephanie and Rinnie briefly discuss the science behind brain waves, the types of brain waves and how they relate to the cycle of socialization. They also discuss the unconscious and conscious mind, and why it's important to bring unconscious behaviors, beliefs and biases in the conscious mind.
Food for thought:
Mahatma Gandhi once said “Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, your values become your destiny. ”
How might your thoughts be influenced by unconscious “programming” from early in your life?
In what ways can we understand the links between the cycle of socialization and the unconscious habits, beliefs, and biases that influence our lives?
What strategies can we put in place to consciously uncover the unconscious scripts and programs that influence our values and shape our desired life outcomes?
Why is understanding this cycle valuable in our mindset shifting work?

Have these arcs shaped any self-limiting beliefs that might be holding you back?
