Laurie M. Johnson is professor of political science at Kansas State University and president of The Maurin Academy (https://pmaurin.org). Most of her work has involved developing an understanding and critique of classical liberal theory and includes works on Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, and Tocqueville. Her recent book, Ideological Possession and the Rise of the New Right (2019), sets the stage for her newest book, The Gap in God’s Country (Cascade, 2024), with broader implications for what we can do to address our problems.

He is an Associate Professor of Christianity and Philosophy at the University of Jamestown, a Fellow at the Cambridge Center for the Study of Platonism at Cambridge University, and a co-host of the Spiritually Incorrect Podcast (spirituallyincorrectpodcast.com). Jordan Daniel Wood earned his PhD in historical theology from Boston College in 2019 and published a book with University of Notre Dame Press, The Whole Mystery of Christ: Creation as Incarnation in Maximus Confessor (2022). He was just recently appointed as Assistant Professor of Theology at Belmont University, to begin August 2024, but spent the past three years as a stay-at home dad of four.

Contesting Religious Identity in American Culture (Cambridge, 2024).
