Scaling a business requires you to sacrifice more of your time and effort. It’s an unfortunate reality that all entrepreneurs need to accept. Or is it? I argue that this widely held belief is just a trap that holds us back from achieving our goals. Many of my clients initially expressed concerns like, "I don't have the time to take on more people," or "How will I market effectively?" They're already pouring every ounce of energy into client delivery. It leads to a vicious cycle, where scaling seems synonymous with burnout or failure. But here's a vital truth: scaling smarter, not harder, is entirely within reach. Let me share some pivotal strategies that have transformed not just my work, but also the businesses of so many women I admire. 1. Crafting the Right Offer Strategy: Rather than haphazardly casting an offer into the market, engage in meaningful conversations with current clients to refine what you can provide. I vividly remember spending numerous hours in one-to-one consultancy, feeling drained. It was market research and a clear offer refinement that transitioned me into a thriving mastermind model. Your offer should feel enticing both to you and your clients — a win-win.
2. Keep it Clear and Concise: Effective, strategic marketing needn't monopolise your time. Clear scheduling and messaging are your allies here. Take clients who've successfully used a mix of paid and organic marketing, like Facebook ads paired with robust email strategies. The key is not simply creating more content, but ensuring each piece you make works hard across multiple platforms. By doing so, your messaging reaches further without demanding additional labour from you.
3. Smart Pricing Strategy: Lastly, revisit your pricing strategy to guide clients towards your new, scalable offer. Often, the allure of one-to-one services persists due to perceived value, meaning your model will remain labour-intensive unless adjusted. Either remove non-scalable services or adjust their pricing to encourage clients towards your scalable offerings. This strategy not only aligns pricing with business growth but also preserves your time.
Ultimately, smart scaling frees up your time, allowing for more growth and increased revenue. It’s not about working harder but working with precision. I’ve got a super practical episode for you today, talking all things marketing tactics and what I’m seeing work for my clients right now. If you’re ready to generate more dream clients in less time, make sure you take notes so you can implement these 4 strategies in your business right away. 9-Word Email One standout strategy is the 9-word email, a brainchild of Dean Jackson from the real estate world. This is a great tactic to re-engage any warm leads you might have with a quick question that speaks to their problem. You send a really brief email, only one sentence long that might look something like this: Subject: Sarah, quick question for you Email: Are you still interested in finding new ways to boost engagement? A client of mine recently used this strategy and from the three people who replied, two of those leads converted into 1:1 clients. Try it out this week and see what happens! Video Sales Letter The next strategy that I see really working is the video sales letter. Imagine putting together a short, snappy five to seven-minute video that’s essentially your sales pitch on camera. It's perfect for offering a more personal touch while walking potential clients through who you are and what you can do for them. I had a client try it out, and she literally doubled her sales calls. If you’re stressing over the script, I’ve got you covered—just DM me the word "video" on Instagram, and I'll hook you up with a script I created. Messaging that Hits Home I see a lot of people attracting clients who aren’t quite their vibe. The solution here is to focus on the quality problems that your ideal clients experience. For example, if you're a business coach, aim for those motivated to grow and thrive rather than those just coasting along. This approach has helped me attract the most amazing women who are ready to tackle big challenges. So, focus your messaging on targeting the problems that matter to the clients you dream of working with. Quickie Lead Magnets The quickie lead magnet is all about using tools you already have and turning them into quick wins for your audience. Maybe it's something you're using with a client right now or perhaps something you use all the time in your own business. A quickie lead magnet is easy to create because you already have it on hand and you just need to pop your logo on it. I’m bringing you quite a different solo episode today where I’m sharing some big changes I’ve made in the business after having some life-affirming realisations. I shared these changes with the people on my mailing list recently and I’ve never had so much response from an email before. So much so, that in this episode, I’m reading out exactly what I shared in my email to bring all my beautiful listeners up to speed with what’s happening at Swift Ventures. I share the structural changes I’ve made inside my business, reducing the size of my containers including Swiftmind and 6 Figure Circle. I talk about how the current online landscape calls for high touch, smaller group programs and because I will always focus on clients over profit, I have decided to reduce my monthly revenue to truly serve my clients in the way they need. | My Biggest Mindset Lessons From Birth | 07 Aug 2024 | 00:51:59 | |
For those of you who may not know, I’ve just welcomed my beautiful baby girl, Sunnie Marg Robinson, into the world. From unexpected challenges to moments of pure joy, this experience has reshaped my perspective on life and business. So, I’m taking a quick break from my maternity leave to share with you my birth story and the incredible mindset lessons it taught me. Our journey began months before Sunnie arrived. At around 25 to 30 weeks, we discovered she was breech. Though I tried everything from inversions and acupuncture to chiropractics and moxibustion to flip her, Sunnie was steadfast in her position. This initial phase tested my mindset significantly, especially my preparation for a C-section, scheduled for the 11th of July—interestingly at 11:11 AM. Yet, just four days before the planned C-section, Sunnie miraculously flipped! While I had mentally prepared for a c-section, I was overjoyed that I could return to my original plan of a vaginal birth. This experience reminded me of the immense power of mindset flexibility, where embracing uncertainty and adapting to changes became paramount. The next two weeks were an excruciating yet exhilarating waiting game for natural labour to kick in. My heart was set on avoiding induction, so every waking moment was spent walking, eating dates, and doing stretches, all while hoping to trigger spontaneous labour. Just one day before my scheduled induction, labour finally began with a stretch and sweep, igniting contractions almost immediately. Affirmations and breathing techniques were my lifelines. I was deeply rooted in calmness, thanks to hypnobirthing preparations. As contractions intensified, my partner Chay’s whispered affirmations anchored me: "You're so powerful," "Your body was made to do this," and "You've got this." These affirmations were soothing and reinforced my belief in my capabilities. They also reflected the mindset strategies I have long applied in business. Arriving at the hospital at 2 AM, I was prepared for the next phase. Asking for an epidural became a saga of its own, extending over two grueling hours due to an emergency C-section elsewhere. This unexpected delay pushed my mindset to its limits. I found myself physically and mentally shaken, but Chay's unwavering support helped me re-anchor into my strength. The key lesson here is knowing you can go further than you think possible. In business and life, we set boundaries for ourselves, but often, we are capable of much more when pushed to our edges. During the final stages of labour involving pushing and crowning, I realised the importance of support. Surrounded by an amazing medical team and listening to our birthing playlist, I felt an overwhelming sense of empowerment. Even when a final push required additional assistance with a vacuum because of Sunnie’s large head size, I didn’t feel defeated. Instead, I felt an immense gratitude for the support that ensured a safe delivery. As I looked into Sunnie’s eyes for the first time, I felt an immense wave of gratitude and growth. Each step of labour taught me lessons about strength, patience, and the importance of mental preparedness. I hope that my experiences resonate with you and provide some insights into the incredible power of the human mind during life’s most challenging moments. A theme that has come up a lot during my group coaching calls lately has been the need to stop believing everything the online world tells you.
When I started out in the online space about 5 years ago, I remember being so inspired watching what others were doing, feeling that what they were earning was achievable for me in my business.
Now, the messaging around earnings has grown to a point where we’re talking about figures that are way out of the park. It’s as though you’re not successful unless you’ve created a million-dollar business.
The problem with this type of messaging is that it makes people give up and feel like they’re not enough. When you’re starting out, 5, 6 and 7 figure months feel so far away.
When did the online space stop celebrating 6 figure years as a milestone?
This episode is a reminder that the online space is always going to perpetuate the thoughts and beliefs of human beings who are navigating their own journeys and their own inner critics.
Please remember that what you’re seeing online is not always the truth.
Whatever stage you are at in business, my hope is to encourage you to come back to your personal vision and act out of your unique understanding of what success means to you.

After my trip to Bali, I’ve had the opportunity to reflect on my life with refreshed eyes and truly appreciate everything around me, including our business journey and all of the experiences I’ve been through along the way.
I’m very excited to bring you this solo episode about the 10 things I wish I knew on the road to earning one million dollars. Over the life of our business, we earned $20,000 in our first year to earning $970,000 in the last financial year.
I’ve learned so much throughout this incredible journey and I can’t wait to share each of them with you.
I truly believe that abundance comes through ease but there’s a difference between easeful and easy. My learnings start at the very beginning when you’re starting your business. You must understand that you'll definitely need to put in the time and effort to set up the right infrastructure from day one. Your business will need to be prioritised and you'll need to put in the work every time you want to change or scale anything.
I recommend writing down each of these 10 things to journal and reflect on to benefit from my experiences and learnings. You won’t be able to scale and build a sustainable successful business without implementing these important lessons so tune in to get the absolute best results again and again through mindset, marketing and strategy.

With the right tools, we can manage our energy and maintain a confident mindset throughout a launch. In Ana’s recent launch for the Soulful Entrepreneur Mentorship, she combined her energetic practices with data analysis. By keeping track of everything, she was able to make informed decisions and fine-tune her strategy in real-time. For instance, tweaking the headline of an opt-in page based on data insights led to higher conversion rates. Another big factor in Ana's success was conducting market research before the launch. This meant reaching out to ten ideal clients and asking them about the challenges they were facing. With this feedback, Ana was able to create a lead generator perfectly tailored to her dream client. Ana provides several actionable tips for having a successful launch: 1. Set Clear Intentions: Before you start, make sure you’re clear about your goals, from how you want to feel, to how much you want to make, to what clients you want. Visualise and immerse yourself in the success of your launch. 2. Incorporate Healing and Somatic Tools: Launching can be stressful and it’s easy to fall into catastrophic thoughts or dysregulation. Tools like breathwork or visualisation exercises can help us stay regulated, confident, and on track. It’s also important to include fun activities in your schedule to stay grounded and positive. 3. Analyse Data Regularly: Check your analytics daily. This helps you make real-time adjustments and keeps your strategy on track. 4. Engage with Your Audience: Just posting on social media isn’t enough, you need to engage personally with your audience. Reach out through private DMs or emails to build a connection. In my launch, I found that personalised voice memos made a huge impact. 5. Reflect and Adjust: Continuously reflect on your energy and data and make adjustments to keep yourself on track. Stay grounded, manage self-doubt, and remember your past successes to keep moving forward. Energetics and data are both powerful tools on their own, but combining them is where the magic happens. By following Ana’s approach—setting clear intentions, using somatic tools, analysing data, engaging actively with the audience, and maintaining a reflective practice—entrepreneurs can navigate their launch with confidence and achieve their desired outcomes. If you decide that everything is going to be easeful in your business, it will be. I know, it sounds very simple. But when you make this your way of doing business, you're actively preventing overwhelm and choosing to build a business that fulfills you and allows for creative space. In this episode, I want to share how ease is a decision, what it looks like, how I choose ease in all areas of my work and how I come back to it again and again. I’ll explore how you can practically apply making decisions that incorporate ease into your marketing, mindset and strategy. When you choose ease in business you’re choosing not to live in overwhelm, stress and burnout. This doesn’t mean you don’t step out of your comfort zone! I definitely break free from my comfort zone, but when I do I create safety in my day so I don’t have a very dysregulated nervous system. I’ll run you through the exact steps and examples of how I use safety every day to prevent me from becoming overwhelmed and stressed. The habits that you have control over regulate your nervous system and ground you within your day. I always give myself the opportunity to come back to neutrality and create dopamine through my lifestyle and not inside my business through external validation. I always create ease in my marketing by being intentional in every piece. I’ll run you through how we accomplish this while still doing everything that feels fun and fulfilling. Ease, for me in my business, looks like simplification and streamlining everything. This has allowed me to create so much space for creativity by not wasting any time on unnecessary tasks. Fi’s photographs capture her clients as authentic, beautiful, and powerful and her coaching supports them to find self-belief, confidence, and purpose. With 20 years of experience behind her, Fi has navigated the many challenges that modern women face and managed to build and maintain a multi-six figure business through it all. I have known Fi for many years through her photography work and in October last year, she joined the Scalable Mastermind. Since joining the program, Fi has been honing in on personal reach out and has seen amazing results. In this episode, Fi shares why business owners often avoid personal reach out as a sales strategy and the many reasons why you should start doing it. 3 Obstacles to Personal Reach Outs 1. Lack of Confidence: Many women in business grapple with self-doubt, questioning their expertise and worth. Fi suggests a mindset shift, focusing on past successes and positive feedback to build confidence. 2. It’s Too Salesy: No one wants to be seen as a pushy saleswoman. But instead of seeing all personal reach out as aggressive, reframe it as being a genuine attempt to help someone. You are offering them a solution to a problem they have and what you have to offer will help them in their business. 3. Fear of Rejection: Rejection will inevitably happen. Sometimes people won’t respond to your reach out and that’s okay. We need to normalise rejection as par for the course in sales and stay focused on the value that we offer. Crafting Effective Personal Reach Outs 1. Target the Right People: If you reach out to people you don’t know, that’s when it can feel pushy and salesy. Only reach out to people who already know you and would genuinely benefit from your offer. 2. Use Familiar Platforms: Make sure you approach potential clients on a platform where you both feel comfortable communicating. Instagram is Fi’s preferred platform and for an even more personal touch, she sends voice messages. 3. Communicate Clearly: Prepare your words carefully to come across as genuine and sincere and not in any way pushy. The right message will effectively convey your offer and invite further conversation and relationship. In an era where people crave genuine connections, a personal note stands out and fast-tracks the relationship-building process. With so much information coming at us on the daily, a personal reach out cuts through the noise and has the ability to clarify any confusion or hesitation that might have been holding someone back from making the decision to work with you. Project Management System Our project management tool of choice is Asana. It contains every single thing that we do each day and quite frankly, without it, we’d be lost! Why do we use Asana? Centralised Tasks: Every task, from the smallest to the most significant, is documented in Asana. This keeps the entire team on the same page and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. It also means that we can see what everyone else is working on so we can collaborate and get a full understanding of the workload. Process Documentation: Our tasks in Asana often include links to Loom videos for how a task is to be completed. This consistency is vital for training new team members and maintaining high-quality work. 2. Client Onboarding System Client onboarding is one of the crucial touch points in a client journey with you, but it’s often overlooked. Over the years, Nivek and I have spent a lot of time honing and crafting our onboarding system, particularly around our masterminds, because we understand how vital this process is for client success. Data and Analytics System Last year, we committed to getting even better with our data and analytics to set ourselves up for making the most informed decisions in the business. Google Analytics and Looker Studio: These free tools provide comprehensive insights into website traffic, user behaviour, and other critical metrics. At the time, we were repurposing our podcast episodes as pins on Pinterest but when we looked at the data, it became clear that this strategy wasn’t effective.
