As James’ track season comes to a close, we wanted recap the last few months he's spent running round in circles. I also wanted to gain a little more insight into how he got and on we wanted to share how you can get involved yourself maybe next year if you’ve been inspired. Track can be a daunting thing, but hopefully this shows that anyone can take part, you just have to find the right races for you, go along with a friend and be pushed outside of your comfort zone slightly. We then chat about James will transition this speed work into marathon training as he is working towards Amsterdam Marathon on 16th October and Katie is working towards London Marathon on 2nd October.

This weeks guest is Tom Drybala, a keynote speaker, author and ultra runner. Tom starts project Flow Up Global on 29th August. He is running the circumference of the world over 40,000 km in 3 and a half years. He’ll be running in 4 different areas of the world in 4 different stages.
We can’t wait to share with you Tom’s journey with running, how going through a mid-life crisis (in his words) helped him to find running and how he uses running to be more mindful and overcome trauma and stress through the sport.

In today's episode we chat about parkrun! The free weekly timed 5km that takes place every Saturday around the world. We chatted through some fun facts and stats, what parkrun means to us, some of our favourite courses and how we plan to use parkrun in the future. During the facts section, James mentions how many parkruns are there in the world, and he actually meant UK, there are more than 1,700 in the world currently.
