This episode was more so a reflection for me as we approach the end of June. Of all the things I learned, one of the biggest lessons was to decrease my sense of control. Whether it’s control of people, finances, or any given situation, we have to learn to loosen our grip on life so that we can enjoy the fruits of our labor and focus our intention back on healing. Life is so beautiful and part of its beauty lies within the obstacles and challenges we face on a daily basis. And I am learning to enhance my ability to discern the things I need to let go of to grow.

Let’s get right into this conversation about the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. This is still one of the biggest debates and ongoing conversations happening in our country right now. I think it is imperative that we educate ourselves on the meaning and deeper meanings on why this is happening in this time.

Not only is our generation affected by this decision but the generations to come will also be impacted by these decisions. So now is the time to strategize our next steps and assess what healing work needs to happen to overcome choices we no longer have control over.

This conversation was difficult but so healing for me. Being able to talk about my skin condition, having Vitiligo, and sharing it with the world has made me feel more confident, appreciative, and comfortable in the skin I’m in.

For so long I wanted to be ”invisible” which I manifested on my face…literally. But I allowed negative people, energy, and projections to validate my insecurities and confirm my lack of self-love and esteem, something I am no longer willing to compromise anymore!
