The Next 100 Days Podcast is a leading UK business show. Through this podcast, Kevin and Graham reveal strategies you can use to improve your business and take it to the next level in the next 100 days and beyond. In addition to featuring their own advice, Kevin and Graham host amazing guests from across the business world. Often the guests are successful, but lesser-known business owners and entrepreneurs, enabling the show to bring fresh content and stand out from many of the US based business shows. Graham and Kevin believe that business change comes about when a business owner focusses on just one thing that will make a real difference to his business. That might be product development, a new product launch or a marketing campaign. Focussing for less than 100 days, or focussing on too many things generally won’t deliver the results you need, Equally, its difficult to maintain effective focus for much longer than 100 days without re-assessing priorities. vendredi 30 septembre 2022Duration 42:09

Kevin Whelan runs a business called Wealth Builders. Today he shares ways to create recurring income inside and outside any business. We're heading towards troubled times, so advice from one of the leading experts is very timely. Tune into this week's episode of The Next 100 Days and learn from Kevin Whelan. Kevin Whelan's Story Sadly, Kevin Whelan's father died at the young age of 46. Aged 25, Kevin was an economist. He didn't much care for the job. Kevin realised that his father's agency business, finding people to work on North Sea rigs, meant that he had a streak of entrepreneurialism like his father. Just like our Kevin, Kevin Whelan was also from Northumberland AND a Newcastle United fan. When his father died, the family went backwards. At 28, he decided he would not trade his time for money ever again. It was his realisation moment. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Kevin-Whelan-Realisation.mp4 [SHOCKER]   95% of the population do not become financially independent It's worse for business owners. #341 Utilising an Assessment Quiz with Steve Auchettl

vendredi 23 septembre 2022Duration 47:28

Get a highly personalised assessment quiz from Steve Auchettl (pronounced O-Cat-ul) to increase sales. Based in Brighton, SMA Digital has racked up over 700 clients with their assessment quizzes. One business mentor client said it had brought her over £100k in revenue. Another client said it was "an easy non-sales start to your sales funnel". Even Kevin Appleby has chosen to work with Steve for a GrowCFO project. Listen to this week's podcast and discover why these assessments can play a big part in your marketing. What is an Assessment Quiz? Steve's company is SMA Digital. They'll make you a quiz, built using quiz software. SMA are a mix of a software company and a marketing company. It's something you can put out there as a no-sales prospect engagement technique. Here's Kevin's reason for using Steve's services: http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Kevin-Appleby-GrowCFO-Use-Case-of-Assessment-Quiz.mp4   If you want a more sophisticated quiz (like the one Kevin is seeking) Steve sits down with you to figure out your main goals. This will help him shape the type of quiz that'll work well for you. After all, they've done this for loads of clients. Steve uses a lot of psychology around how they ask questions. Especially in marketing quizzes. Then, they'll work on what will be sent at the end of the quiz. It's an Investment in Time http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Steve-Auchettl-Investment-in-Time.mp4 Graham said "It sounds like a lead generation dream. Somebody self qualifies and is happy to do so." It turns out that this is where SMA Digital came from. Lead Generation. He found that the cost of leas were going up and up. Are they a Lead Generation Dream? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Steve-Auchettl-Lead-Generation-Dream.mp4 The lead magnet sent as a result of the quiz, is completely personalised. That's the key behind trust building. It's like you really understand me. The quiz enables: people to identify where they are at; it is curiosity-provoking, meaning they'll want to find out more about you; people to find out instantly. How is SMA Digital Different? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Steve-Auchettl-How-are-SMA-Digital-Different-1.mp4 Very often, Steve recommends that you can use existing media that you are using to direct people towards your quiz. Steve claims that using a quiz on social media like Facebook, will reduce costs and increase conversions. A double win. Pop up a QR code for your quiz. Your chance to take the next step with you. It's non salesy. The quiz allows people to self-identify their own issues. Assessment Quiz Questions So, how does Steve put together the quiz questions? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Steve-Auchettl-Emotional-Questions.mp4   Steve Auchettl Gives The Next 100 Days Podcast a Testimonial http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Steve-Auchettl-Testimonial.mp4 Contact SMA Digital Just click on the image below. #340 Neuroscience and Business with Jan Sky of Brain Potential

vendredi 16 septembre 2022Duration 47:54

Jan Sky has 30 years of experience in business. Recently, Jan developed an interest in neuroscience. This means, what's going on upstairs in the brain? God help, Kevin and Graham! She hails from Queensland Australia and the courses the provides are mostly online. Jan is an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Neuropsychotherapist and Coach. If you are dealing with anxiety, stress, relationships, and workplace disharmony then Jan is certainly able to help you.  Two years ago, she graduated from University in Applied Neuroscience. She can easily work through behaviour changes to make positive changes in your business.  With coaching and neuroscience, your understanding and ability to move forward will be enhanced. What is Neuroscience? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Jan-Sky-What-is-Neuroscience.mp4 A psychotherapist is a person that studies different subjects relating to behaviour. They then apply their knowledge in a clinical situation. Adding 'near' to the front, just means Jan has an understanding of what's going on in the brain. Whilst Jan still performs therapy, she has rather stepped outside of that now by offering a Leadership Programme. Jan helps leaders understand thrown brain and its potential. In doing so, they'll understand their team better. The outcome of which, is a lot more collaboration and increased productivity. How Jan Helps Identify Skills Gaps http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Jan-Sky-Identifying-Skills-Gaps.mp4 Once the skills gaps are identified in companies or organisations, the solution tends to be to run her main programme. That runs over 8 weeks. One week of group online learning. People reconvene fortnightly. In between, specialised coaches work one on one with the leader. Are you ignoring your team? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Jan-Sky-ignoring-your-team.mp4 Often people don't recognise they are getting in the way of peak performance. If the team is not performing, then take a look at the leader. If so much is on autopilot, how do you change behaviours? Kevin asked a great question. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Jan-Sky-Leaders-must-change.mp4 Prior to starting the programme, Jan meets the managers. Did Graham mention the Fawlty Towers episode with the psychologists? Click on the image to watch the clip on YouTube. "We're Quite Normal Down Here in Torquay, You Know!" Graham Reveals a Little Man Cleans His Teeth! You can't take yourself too seriously! Truth: Graham doesn't have a little man that cleans his teeth. ...It's a little woman! http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Jan-Sky-Cleaning-Teeth.mp4 The brain doesn't mature until we reach 25 years old, The trick is to keep learning NEW things. #339 Latest Deals with Chief Bargain Hunter, Tom Church

vendredi 9 septembre 2022Duration 56:37

Tom Church founded Latest Deals as a community to sniff out the best deals in the UK. Two friends and Tom started the business when they couldn't find a money-off coupon to offset the price of a Brazilian steak dinner. That must have been devastating for them! But, Tom considered this a real opportunity to make a difference. Most of the competing deals sites were focused on men, Latest Deals turned to women. The Original Story Graham asked Tom what the business is about and what it does for people. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Origin-Story.mp4 Tom's community has grown to 2.5 million members. Demographically, their members are 21 to 65+, mostly female. Britain's Sexiest Man Targets Females Shocker! Tom took the ribbing in good part. They did target females for differentiation. Tom tricked Google into them believing he's Britain's Sexiest Man (everyone in the know, knows that it's Kevin really). http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Targeting-Females.mp4 More about Latestdeals.co.uk It's just like a shop, but when you look closely one thing is at Amazon, another is at Argos and another at eBay, etc. Latest Deals makes money by affiliate marketing. That means if someone clicks on the All-New Fire 7 Tablet from Amazon and buys it, Tom's firm will make money. What is allowed on the site has to be products at the best prices on the market. "It's a community site for passionate bargain hunters." With Energy Costs Going Through The Roof, Does Tom Expect a Huge Increase in Members? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Energy-Costs-and-Membership.mp4 Tom and his two partners all agreed to set aside income payments for 6 months when they started the venture. After 3 months they were just profitable. Now they employ 30+ staff. So what was his secret sauce? Partnering http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Partnering.mp4 Tom mentioned Google Shopping. I think they are using the URL froogle.com, but click on this image and it'll take you there if you haven't checked the site out yet. Kevin asked the question - how do you know it's the best deal or a good deal? They check. On Amazon, Google etc. They also rely on their community for moderation. Members can get points for pointing out chinks in these deals (like added postage). Is the future all about the App? One of the challenges for Latest Deals has been distribution channels. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Will-the-App-Be-The-Future.mp4 Tom shares useful information about affiliate marketing http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Affliliate-Marketing.mp4 Those AFFILIATE NETWORK links: Affiliate Window Commission Junction Skimlinks TradeDoubler Tom Church provides a glowing Testimonial for The Next 100 Days Podcast http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Church-Testimonial.mp4 So, what did Tom say in this glowing testimonial? #338 Imposter Syndrome with Clare Josa

vendredi 2 septembre 2022Duration 42:19

Imposter syndrome expert Clare Josa joins the podcast this week. The first thing to mention about Clare is how you pronounce her surname. Yosa, Not Josa. Now we've got that bit right, we need to understand what it is. If you want a research-backed assessment of your IMPOSTER SYNDROME, then Clare has made available a personalised action plan, which will take less than 5 minutes. Go here: Here's the link for the scorecard I mentioned. I think your audience might find it really useful. It gives them a research-backed assessment of their Imposter Syndrome risk level and a personalised action plan, all in under five minutes: https://www.clarejosa.com/next100days/ What is it? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-What-is-Imposter-Syndrome.mp4 Imposter syndrome is loosely defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. It disproportionately affects high-achieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments. An example in a Board Meeting 62% of corporate employees struggle with it. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-Example-of-Imposter-Syndrome-in-a-Board-Room.mp4 Kevin said he can back up Clare's research. In his work with GrowCFO, they suffer from a lack of confidence and I.S. Clare says there are trigger points. Like being promoted into a C-Suite position. Either people cope or they step back. This syndrome has gotten worse due to social media (add it to the long list...) Social Media Impact http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-Social-Media-Impact.mp4 The problem with social media is what you see is the best bits of the best bits of everyone else! The algorithm facilitates the impact IS can have. So, don't compare yourself with a refined Kevin Appleby video. You'll never reach his dizzyingly high standards. :) High Achievers - Watch Out! http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-High-Achievers.mp4 What should you do to cope with Imposter Syndrome? Clare mentioned bridging the gap strategies. Compensating for IS really. THAT doesn't work. Examples, I'm going to toughen up, Push on through, Pretend it's okay, I'm going to put on a persona. That can work short-term but at a huge personal cost. In this clip, Clare explains what you should do. Start by PRESSING PAUSE. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-How-to-Address-Imposter-Syndrome.mp4 A big trigger point is going from managing to leading. Now it's about strategy and being visible. You set the direction, rather than collaborating with others. This is a big identity and skillset shift. Most people don't get trained. Clare teaches by working on the body. It's not talking therapy. The last thing you want is the go through all the bad stuff that got them to their place of strife. Connect with what happens to the body before they set sabotage. The solution is all about tapping the meridian points on the body. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-Meridian-Points-on-The-Body.mp4     How to Contact Clare Josa Her page is clarejosa.com Clare Josa Gives a Testimonial to The Next 100 Days http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Clare-Josa-Testimonial.mp4 The Next 100 Days co-hosts… Graham Arrowsmith Graham runs Finely Fettled to help organisations that want to market to affluent and high-net-worth customers.  He also runs Meet Professionals which is being offered to financial advice groups as a white-labelled lead generation and conversion system. Coming soon to The Next 100 Days Podcast. How Typical of Podcasts are The Next 100 Days? Well, it seems we are fairly rare. Tom calls Kevin and I 'original gangsters'! Or is it really "old gits" http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Schwab-How-Typical-are-We.mp4 Tom's background is inbound marketing. So, in 2014, he started looking at podcasting. Back then, one of the tricks they used was guest blogging. You'd do this to 'get your name out there'. Tom recognised that you can use podcast interviews LIKE guest blogs. These podcasts worked so great, Tom thought it was just a fluke! Talk to the Right Audience http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Tom-Schwab-Right-Audience.mp4 Kevin made the point that every week we get downloads from our very early episodes. Tom builds on this and explains that some of his clients use podcast guesting just for the SEO value. Tom points out that the first person who brought that to his attention is: QuHarrison Terry - find him here: https://quharrison.com Over the last 8 years, Tom has helped over 1,000 different people get onto podcasts. But, Interview Valet does not pay podcast hosts. His business model is more like a PR agency. Getting people exposure through podcasting. Don't do MORE interviews, but do MORE with the interviews. Do no more than one interview a week. One of our previous guests did do 200+ interviews as a podcast host with chief executives. #336 Net Zero Investing with James Parritt from VitParr

vendredi 19 août 2022Duration 50:50

If you are an investor, seeking great returns and low risk, then consider net zero investing. Our guest on this podcast is James Parritt, who is soon launching a net zero investment fund. Net Zero is a topic that comes up as often as inflation and growth. Will we achieve the target set for net zero? Why is net zero carbon important? There is a lot of talk about sustainability and net zero emissions lately. But what does this mean for the future of our planet? And why is it so important that we achieve net zero emissions by 2050? In this episode, we will discuss the importance of achieving net zero emissions and how a massive investment in net zero technology can help create a sustainable future for our planet. The world is facing an existential crisis. Climate change is real and it is happening right now. We are already seeing the effects of climate change with more extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and dwindling resources. If we do not take action to reduce our emissions and achieve net zero emissions by 2050, the consequences will be catastrophic. Achieving net zero emissions by 2050 is essential for a sustainable future. We need to invest in renewable energy, green infrastructure, and clean technology. This will create jobs, grow the economy, and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. It is a win-win for the environment and the economy. The time to act is now. We need to make the switch to clean energy and green infrastructure. We need to do our part to reduce our emissions and create a sustainable future for our planet. Net zero emissions by 2050 is essential for a sustainable future. The strategy commits the UK to slash emissions of the greenhouse gases that are warming the planet to reach 'net zero' emissions by 2050. What does net zero mean? http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/James-Parritt-What-is-Net-Zero.mp4 James explained that there are big carbon capture projects happening all over the UK. Such as Project Jackdaw, operated by Shell. They'll use pipes to capture the gas they burn. Once captured they hope to transform the gas into molecules and create hydrocarbons. Isn't Net Zero Causing People to Worry? James mentioned Al Gore - the movie was called An Inconvenient Truth. http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/James-Parritt-Net-Zero-Worry.mp4 Kevin recalled the campaign in 1973 called "Plant a Tree in 73". We have an exclusive photo featuring Kevin doing his bit. Isn't that Kevin furthest on the right? Credit: Isle of White County Press, The Ventilator How Much Will The World Need to Spend to Get to Net Zero in 2050? Here's what came up in Google - Source McKinsey: When it comes to cutting emissions, it will cost an awful lot to make a little. The global effort to hit net zero by 2050 will cost $275 trillion in spending on physical assets, ranging from wind farms to electric cars and better-built houses, according to global consultancy McKinsey. 25 Jan 2022 It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that that amount of money is going to create a huge net zero investing opportunity for investors. This is why James Parritt is set to launch a pure Net Zero Investment Fund later this year. Net Zero Investment Fund http://thenext100days.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/James-Parritt-Net-Zero-Investment-Fund-Guarantee.mp4 Investors Discover more about the VITPARR Net Zero Investment Fund, where you can invest £10,000 in year one with a 100% guarantee. That means, if after a year, the fund value is below £10,000, VITPARR will refund it all back to you. James explained that this one is to prove themselves in the marketplace. Expected returns in Year 1 is 10%. If you are happy with this return, you'll be offered the opportunity to invest £25,000 in Year 2 with a return of 15% and then £30,000 in year 3 with a 20% return. How Taxing is it as a Net Zero Investment Fund Manager? James Parritt has 4 degrees.
