So You Married and Divorcing a Narcissist
Season 2 · Episode 62
jeudi 26 février 2026 • Duration 10:00
This week, I’m speaking directly to the women who are married to, or divorcing, narcissists. After countless messages from women around the world, including one mother in Canada who is terrified to file for divorce because of the financial and emotional fallout she knows is coming, I knew this conversation needed to happen.
In this episode, I share what I’ve learned from my own lived experience navigating a high-conflict divorce with a narcissist. We talk about the fear of starting over, financial uncertainty, child custody struggles, and the reality of dealing with someone who lacks empathy and distorts the truth to fit their narrative. I also explain where my mentorship begins and where professional intervention is necessary. If you’re feeling scared, overwhelmed, or alone in this process, this episode is for you.
Episode Highlights:
[0:22] – A woman preparing to file for divorce and the financial fear that’s holding her back
[2:05] – Choosing peace and freedom, even if it means starting over in a “shoebox”
[3:12] – Getting your ducks in a row before filing and preparing for what you already know is coming
[3:45] – Why narcissistic personality patterns don’t change—and the role of empathy
[4:30] – Distorted narratives, recruitment, and what it feels like to be on the receiving end
[5:15] – When situations move beyond mentoring and require legal or crisis support
[6:41] – Why the narcissist topic resonates so deeply across social media
[7:20] – The value of lived experience versus clinical theory
[8:00] – What makes my hands-on mentorship different—and why I wish I had this support years ago
[9:12] – How to connect with me and where to find supportLinks & Resources:

Old School Love vs Hookup Culture
Season 2 · Episode 61
jeudi 19 février 2026 • Duration 12:11
This week on The Music of Life, I’m coming to you a little under the weather—but very fired up about something that’s been on my heart: hookup culture, dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, and what’s really happening to love and relationships today. I’m sharing my honest thoughts about modern dating, cheating, emotional immaturity, and why so many people feel disconnected—even when they’re technically “together.”
I talk about inner healing, the Law of Attraction, generational trauma, and why I believe toxic relationships form when unhealed people align with other unhealed people. If you’ve ever wondered why dating feels so hard, why meaningful love feels rare, or whether real, soul-aligned love is still possible—this episode is for you. Press play and let’s have an honest conversation about love, self-worth, and what it truly takes to build something beautiful.
Episode Highlights:
[0:02] - Opening thoughts and why I wanted to talk about hookup culture—even while feeling under the weather.
[0:55] - Dating apps, cheating, and the question: what are people really looking for?
[1:30] - How porn, unhealed trauma, and the Law of Attraction shape modern relationship dynamics.
[3:01] - Why I believe inner healing is the key to attracting a healthy, evolved partner.
[4:15] - Stop asking “why” and start asking “what” when reflecting on your wounds.
[5:30] - Why fighting for yourself and your self-worth changes everything in love.
[6:00] - Looking back at our parents’ and grandparents’ long marriages—what did they understand about commitment?
[7:11] - My personal truth: how the unhealed version of me aligned with the unhealed version of my ex.
[8:45] - Why ending a toxic relationship can be one of the most painful—and transformative—experiences.
[9:30] - What real love looks like when two whole, healed people come together.
[10:27] - Breaking generational trauma and why the cycle of pain stops with me.
[11:26] - How to connect with me and share your thoughts on this conversation.

I’m diving deeper into what it means to tell the truth, stand in your emotional maturity, and use your story as a beacon for others who feel like they’re barely surviving the storm.
I also explore what healing has actually looked like for me—how far I’ve come, the resilience I didn’t even know I had, and the profound peace I’ve found in my new life. [5:20] – Reflecting on the painful dynamics from the marriage and divorce.
[6:41] – The sleep-schedule differences and the inconsiderate behaviors that escalated.
[7:30] – Reclaiming peace, joy, and freedom in my new home and new chapter.
[8:15] – Why sharing my story establishes trust for those seeking mentorship.
[9:05] – My commitment to helping others rise from their own ashes.

Hey friends, in this episode, I take you on a personal and emotional journey in three parts — all beautifully connected by a deeper purpose I’ve been stepping into more and more. This one is close to my heart. It starts with a powerful message I shared in a divorce support group that sparked a realization in me about how we transmute pain into purpose. I open up about a surprising reconnection with someone from my past and how that experience became a mirror of the work I feel called to do.
Then I share an unexpected, soul-shaking conversation I had with a rabbi that led me to a life-changing insight about leadership, healing, and the deeper “why” behind the work I do. If you’ve ever felt like your life’s hardships were molding you into something greater, this episode will speak directly to your heart. Let’s walk this healing path together.

[8:36] – Receiving a surprise piece of art with my name in it — a beautiful gift of gratitude
[10:19] – Deep conversation with a rabbi that parallels my journey to the story of Moses
[11:48] – The powerful shift from focusing on “how” to embracing the “why” behind leading others
[13:40] – Feeling emotional and humbled by stepping into a path I was always meant to walk
