We've teamed up with Mark and Amanda from 2 Massage Therapists and a Microphone once again for this bonus episode for you.  Even though we are currently on a recording break as we (Nicole & Heather) prepare to move their practices to a new location, we had to get behind the mic again after the latest fee announcement from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (May 2022).  Listen in as we discuss how we felt when we read the $100 fee increase for 2023, review the CMTO's rationale behind this increase, break down some math for you, and of course our usual ramblings!  We all bring a different perspective as some of us have our General Certificate, some Inactive, some have experience with the CMTO, feel free to join in on the conversations as maybe you know something we missed.

On this instalment of MTP Rants, we decided to just sit down and catch up and talk about how much we love massage therapy.  The month of June we had so much to celebrate so this is how we are doing it, since you know COVID.  Heather celebrated her 1 year anniversary being back practicing and her business, Rivers RMT.  Nicole celebrated 11 years in practice, and this podcast hit 1000 listens!  WOW!  Thank you to everyone who has tuned in thus far.

We've been told we can go back to work, but what does that mean?

In this episode we discuss our return to work amid COVID-19 pandemic, the guidelines that have been set for us by the Government and the CMTO and how that looks for us and our clinic.  We hope our discussion may help other RMTs make way through the confusion and stress on getting their practice back up and running.  The beauty of our business can also be the hardest part, as no two practices look alike and as therapists we need to assess the risks vs benefits for our clients and ourselves.
