Featuring seven guests and just as many collaborators, with six weeks of pre-production, and two weeks of post-production, this episode was our most significant production effort to date. Peter & Rosie's son Liam, fourteen at the time, ended up working at Lucques for two summers as an intern. On his first night of work, Michelle Obama and her daughters came in. Jim is a UC Santa Barbara with a major in Art and a double minor in Film History and Religious Studies. He was awarded a MFA from UC San Diego in 1984 in Visual Art. While at UCSD he studied with performance poet David Antin and postmodern feminist performance artist Elenor Antin. Jim has had exhibits in Berlin and Wroclaw Poland. The works in Europe were collaborations with the Berlin-based Roland Schefferski 2004-2005. His present interest is in discourse between artists and within the community.
