We talk about how the nervous system reacts to stress, and how intution is more intune when the nervous system is regulated. Reasons why Amy’s work is so important is that long term stress, whether emotional, psychological or mechanical/physical, can create a sympathetic-dominant pattern of the nervous system that ultimately leads to pain, injury, movement issues, illness (both mental and physical), and structural changes in the body. By identifying these reflexes, we can rewrite them in a healthy, holistically sound manner and allow the nervous system to choose the operating system, sympathetic or parasympathetic, that is most appropriate for the moment. This culminates in adaptive changes in brain function, thought patterns, metabolic regulation, and joint and fascial functioning to bring the mind and body to a place of structural integrity and efficiency. The Third Eye 

Our bodies only perceive a small percentage of energy that flows around us; however, other types of energy swirling in our universe can be sensed by our third eye. When you have the skill to sense energy beyond your physical senses, you can see energy in and vibration in matter and all around us.

Animals Sensing Energy

Birds, spiders, bats, and other Earth creatures use electromagnetic energy daily for eating, hunting, and other survival techniques. It’s not a stretch to think that humans also have different ways of perceiving energy.

Acceptance of Energy Sensing via Clairvoyance

Although younger children utilize intuition more instinctively, our society dismisses this sensibility, leading people to doubt themselves and their abilities as they get older. Traditionally, intuition has been focused and presented to us as a skill to develop via the “Claires.” For example, a clairvoyant can see images, sensing them as if they were on a TV or as a memory.

Clairaudience and clairsentience are two other forms of intuition. Besides, some people can use taste, touch and smell, as our olfactory sense is one of the most robust connections to memory.

The Power of Choice and Self Esteem - Third Chakra Energies

In today’s episode, we talk about the location and utilization of the third chakra, the Power of Choice and the alchemy of ‘Allow’ statements, Enjoy!

Season 2 Episode 4

The third chakra is about personal power. When you think of the chakras as wheels, and the third chakra gets blocked, there will be an imbalance of power energy in your system. This can be seen in your personality, interactions with others, and your daily choices.

Origins of Your Third Chakra

The household you grew up in, the schooling you received, and your peers all shaped your third chakra. Emotions kept from childhood can affect your third chakra. Your inner critic, the criticism of others, can be found lingering in your third chakra. It’s up to you to find and remove this negative energy and realize your access to self-esteem.

Working with Your Third Chakra

Your third chakra can manifest as physical disturbances in your body. Sayings such as “this hit me in the gut” directly reference our third chakra. When you have your power taken away, this can feel as if you are physically getting punched in the gut. It’s important to acknowledge the area, what is stuck, and getting the flow going to move the stuck energy.

Use Allow Statements

Give your body the choice to change. How do you choose to bring energy to your third chakra? How are you choosing to restructure this energy? People around you can sense how you are shaped, and your pattern will continue until you change.

By paying attention to your energies, you can review what may be congested and decide to stop giving energy to the elements that prevent you from harnessing your power. In my experience, my clients rarely work with this one independently, as it’s challenging to go into the shadowy corners and clean them out. 

Allowing statements can help regain your sense of self-esteem. Allow your body to shift energy onto your third chakra; review The Four Agreements. If you’re not aligned with one or more of the Four Agreements, chances are you’ll have work to do in your third chakra region.

Sex, Fear and Self-Expression - Second Chakra Energies

We talk about how the second and fifth chakras are intrinsically linked, why your mother's sense of self can affect how you relate to feeling safe, and how these areas have a significant influence on how you relate to the energies of sex, fear, and self-expression. Enjoy!

Why do we as a culture have a hard time asking for what we want, especially sex? The emotional energies of sex, fear, and self-expression are involved and have a lot to do with the second chakra. Understanding these energies can help us understand how we deal with anxiety, judgment, and being sacred to our bodies.

My mentor termed S.E.X. as Soul Energy eXchange because people share energies as well as their physical bodies. Even though these energies are all intertwined, our society exacerbates these components of our energy field, especially in how sex is portrayed in modern society. Traditionally, women haven’t been able to express their sexual desires. Women allowing themselves to have and express their own sexual desires would reduce the judgment women put on themselves due to conditioned thinking and societal pressure.  

Second and Fifth Chakra Links

The second chakra is also the source of your creative energy, which is why artists are regarded as on the fringe of society. Creativity fuels our culture and imagination but is not fully embraced in our society.

Your second and fifth chakras are intrinsically linked, energetically speaking. This affects how we put ourselves out there in the world. If one or the other of these chakras is compromised, the alternate chakra struggles to maintain a healthy energy flow.

Mimicking Your Mother’s Energy

Much of how you feel about self-safety relates back to how safe your mother felt in her body because children will try and mimic her energy whether or not you are male or female. An individual who misunderstands that energy can mistake themself and their own sense of desires. This then affects how they see themselves and how they look for affection later in life.

Balance Exercise

Rub your hands together, and place one hand on your throat and one on your pelvic bones above your genitals. Take a few deep breaths and notice how you feel these two areas connect. Now switch the top hand for the bottom hand and feel the subtle energetic changes. Next, move your lower hand to above your tailbone, and feel the energy link between them. That can dislodge the fear you hold in your intestines. Now take your hand in the front of your throat and place it on the back of the neck and repeat the energy link. Sit with these for a few minutes and notice energy moving.

Final thoughts…

Balancing out our sexual energy can help to compensate for the other energy irregularities in our life. We can take the most significant action to balance out second chakra energy for us and others to stop judging ourselves, others, and what each individual desires from our second chakra. Judging others' sexual preferences and desires limits our sense of self to a degree. See where and how you judge sex and see how that reflects on yourself.

We chat about how we've become ungrounded in the past year due to the inability to participate in interpersonal activities that humans have been programmed to do for eons. Finding Others Online with a Synergistic Commonality
Go online and find groups of people who you resonate with energetically. The more you can look someone in the eye and say I’m similar to you or knowing others exist that are like you, you’ll feel more connected. Our connections pick up on our communications with your inner voice. When many others discuss their intuitive abilities with you, then the subject matter is no longer in the shadows but is free for independent expression.
Grounding Yourself with Your First Chakra
Your first chakra encompasses tribe, food, shelter, and survival - it is the chakra system's reptilian brain. If we aren’t feeling secure or unbalanced, our first chakra can be uprooted. Imagine if your chakra energy is a seven-story windmill that needs to be stabilized into the ground; how far down does your energy need to go down into the Earth to keep it stable.
How to Sense Energy Using Your Imagination
Use your childhood imagination, go back and create and think of your energy field as being grounded in your own rooting. Create a schematic of how your energy is supported when it's rooted downward. This allows you to safely tune into frequencies that are upward. 
Tree Energy from Tree Roots to Tree Tops
To ground yourself:
1. Start by focusing on the energies that are as deep and as tall as a tree.
2. Don’t worry about the energy of the universe, gods, or goddesses for the time being.
3. Start at square one and stay centered and present in nature and our environment to give your body and energy a break from oversensing.
Experience the foundational energy level of nature and become grounded in the earthly energies before incorporating or exploring other energies.
Coming Out of the Pandemic with Positive Energetic Change
Look inside yourself for introspection and alignment with your true sense of self without judgment. If you feel judged, then go deeper inside you to see your energy. Look to feel desire as this is what’s coming on the next level above your ground floor.

Season 2 Episode 1 Welcome to Season 2 of The Intuitive Energy Podcast! We discuss intuitive care, what you can do to develop and protect your intuitive self, and practical ways to be a grounded, energetic being in a chaotic world.

Daily Rituals to Stay Grounded and What I Do as a Healer

I drink a glass of water in the morning. I use a reverse osmosis filter for drinking clean water that is closer to nature. I try to put the most pristine water I can see in my body, no chlorine or fluoride, and make sure that it contains electrolytes and minerals. Next, using salt and Epsom salts in your bathwater and using a few essential oil drops or flowers/petals or stalks of a plant.

I strive to eat organic (vegetarian) whenever possible and set an intention/to bless my food before I eat it. Like water, food holds intentions, that food ends up supplying your body with energy. It is beneficial to present it with your energy and intentions before you put it in your body. Prepare your water, as water holds intentions, which is why it is good to put your water out in the sunlight and have a mindful intention attached to it.

Preparations to Leave Your Home

Go for a walk and get sun on your face, and if you can, leave your house without your phone, so your walk can be intentional without distraction. If you can, walk barefoot or wear flat bendy shoes.

I use my intuition when working with clients. Because of this, I prefer to protect myself; a few ways are: I use clove oil with a carrier oil on my spleen chakra (front and back) to help protect that energetically sensitive area. Also, wearing silk helps calm the sensitivities to the psychic energy around us. I buy silk blend sweaters, two sizes too big, so when I inevitably wash them, they will shrink and still fit.

Good Energy Practices

Breathe into your pelvis and your abdomen to be calm in your own body. Get your energy to your base, so your body can calm down and be more available to interpret the world around you. Get magnesium if you're energetically sensitive or if you need to feel calm. Modern farming practices have reduced magnesium in our food. Therefore, people find it prudent to add back into their systems.

Ground treetops to roots and hug a tree as they want to receive energy, whether positive or negative. Gardening and other Earth activities are essential. Besides, you can ground yourself by using a grounding mat for sleep and working. Get one for your desk to help with the electronics around you while you're working during the daytime.

Use my Disco Ball Exercise and create a bubble of energy around you. Do this by visualizing a life-sized disco ball, step inside and close the door. You're now encased in mirrors reflecting outside energy. Also, you can still sense the energy of those around you when you choose.

Nighttime Rituals to Create Calming Energy

Salt and saltwater baths are great, especially before bedtime. Send energies you no longer want into the salt in the water; then, let the water drain out while you are still in the tub, envisioning it takes your cleared energy down the drain with it. Make sure to leave electronics out of the bedroom as blue light disrupts sleep. 

The eyes are the only part of the nervous system that is exposed to the outside world. Give them a rest before you try and sleep. Put a small bowl of salt by the bed at night; it serves as an energetic welcome mat to wipe your feet' energy off before coming back into your body. You can also use a Flower of Life under the bed to sleep well.

Final thoughts…

Use your imagination to create your own rituals to protect your energy. Look what is around you in your environment. For example, I found a walled ramp walkway by my house that has 8-foot walls. I visualize the stuck energy on the back of my chakras are attaching to the walls. The walls are holding onto and clearing out the end of my chakras as I walk down the 25-meter ramp.

Acknowledge Your Feelings

One element we must do in these times is to honor how we are feeling at the moment. We are having a major paradigm shift from an individual and societal perspective. People are changing internally because of the external changes happening.

It is good to understand how your body connects to your energy and power, especially if it’s a newfound awareness. The Importance of Boundaries for Empaths

Many empaths end up giving a lot of their energy away when it’s not asked for by someone. How do empaths see and sense others. We talk about boundaries and why  putting up these types of energetic boundaries gives empaths an energetic safety net from their environments.

Lisette from Amazing Jobs! 

In this endearing interview, I get the pleasure of talking with 7-year-old Lisette from Amazing Jobs! We discuss why I enjoy being an Intuitive energy healer, the importance of telling the truth to yourself, and how intuition works. Lisette and I also chat about the benefits of intuition and why we should trust and embrace our own personal intuition.

Lisette has such a sparkling personality and is a great interviewer! She asked some very poignant questions during our chat. In our conversation, we cover:
