Dr. Leonardo Marquez graduated as a Dentist from University of Guadalajara, Mexico in 2015. After years of sacrifice and effort, he was accepted at the University of Michigan ITDP (Internationally Trained Dentist Program), where he is currently a D4 Student, with an expected DMD graduation date in May 2023. Dr. Marquez was recently accepted in a Prosthodontics Residency Program in Chicago, with a start date of July 2023.

Sergio E. Sanchez, DDS

Assistant Professor, AEGD Program Director, Craniofacial Sciences, University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine

Dr. Sergio Sanchez was born and raised in Peru. He received his Dental Degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Dentistry in 2004. After dental school, Dr. Sanchez completed a Diplomaed certification in Dental Esthetics from the School of Peruvian Dentistry. In 2008, he joined the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Dental Medicine, where he completed two years of residency with an additional AEGD Fellowship. Immediately following his residency, Dr. Sergio Sanchez became a clinical instructor for the AEGD program at UConn School of Dental Medicine. Part of his responsibilities was serving as a dental provider at Health Care Community Centers. In 2016, he was promoted to Assistant Professor and Program Director of the AEGD residency program.
As Program Director of the AEGD residency program, Dr. Sanchez has many administrative responsibilities, including providing clinical supervision and didactic courses for over 30 residents per year. Part of his duties also includes managing the dental Emergency Services offered at UConn School of Dental Medicine and John Dempsey Hospital. Additionally, he is responsible for providing care to patients with acquired and developmental disabilities in the Operating Room at the John Dempsey Hospital. Also, Dr. Sanchez joined a private practice in Torrington, CT, in 2021 as an Associate Dentist.
Dr. Sanchez has helped move UConn School of Dental Medicine into the forefront of Digital Dentistry and 3D printing. He has also participated in several publications and poster presentations, including being part of a presentation where he discussed "Digital Dentistry and its application to Conservative tooth preparation" at the ADEA in 2019. He has also received an award from John Dempsey Hospital for the Hospital Medical Staff Award of Excellence in 2019.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sanchez loves to spend time with this wife and two children. He enjoys traveling, bike riding, and paddle boarding with his children and lovely wife.

Dr. Alexandros Grous graduate from the School of Dentistry, University of Athens (1980).

He completed a certificate, Post Graduate Prosthodontics Specialty Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston (1981-1983).  He became an assistant clinical professor of Prosthodontics, Restorative Dept. TUFTS University (1983-1984). He obtained his PhD, diploma at the School of Dentistry, University of Athens (2003).

He is a part time clinical instructor at the postgraduate Prosthodontics department, School of Dentistry, University of Athens, teaching macro photography courses to postgraduate dental students at the of School of Dentistry, University of Athens.

He maintains a full time private practice limited to Prosthodontics , Esthetics and Implant Dentistry, in Athens. He is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED-1996), Fellow of the International Team of Implantology (ITI ), Member of the International College of Prosthodontics, the European Association of Osseointegration, the European Prosthodontic Association, Active member and Past President (2007-2009) of the Hellenic Society of Odontostomatological Research and past President of Tufts Prosthodontics Alumni Charitable Organization (2011-2016).

Active lecturer nationally and internationally in conventions and continuing education courses on various Prosthodontic, Esthetic and Implant  Dentistry topics.

Dr. Stefania A. Grous received on 2011, her DMD degree from the English program of Semmelweis University, School of Dental Medicine, Budapest, Hungary.

On 2013 she graduated from the two-year postgraduate program of Advanced Education in Aesthetic Dentistry, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA. 

 On 2015 she obtained her MSc degree of Conservative Dentistry, from the University College of London (UCL), London, UK. The study of her project was on the subject of 3D printing and the relevant updated technologies.

 Currently she practices at the Grous Dental Clinic, limited to Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Jose Rivero is a Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist, he was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and practiced for several years while preparing to apply to postgraduate training programs in the U.S. In 2012, Dr. Rivero was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Connecticut, where he completed two years of postdoctoral training. Immediately after, he continued to expand his skills and came to New York,  and accepted a position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where he spent a full year training in the specialty, during this time Dr. Rivero developed a great interest in the field of Anesthesiology and management of patients who had difficulty tolerating dental treatment while awake.
 
He was then accepted into the 3-year Dental Anesthesiology residency program at Jacobi Medical Center in collaboration with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the area, during the 3 years of extensive training exclusively dedicated to Anesthesiology he became proficient in providing all levels of sedation and anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients in settings ranging from the operating rooms to the dental clinics. The Anesthesiology training program included rotations in cardiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pulmonology, intensive care for adult and pediatric patients as well as orofacial pain. A special portion of the clinical aspect was dedicated to providing anesthesia for patients with special needs at the Rose F. Kennedy Center. Dr. Rivero served as Chief Resident during his second and part of his third year of residency.
 
Upon completion of his residency training Dr. Rivero became Board Certified by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, the only officially recognized institution providing board certification in Anesthesiology at the highest level of training for Dentistry. He keeps an active private practice providing ambulatory anesthesia and is affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center and Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he holds teaching positions.
He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Dr Norah Alajaji BDS, MSc.

Dr. Norah Alajaji acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2007.  She pursued higher education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA, under the department of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, attaining her Fellowship and Master’s Degree in 2012 and 2014 respectively.

During her stay in the United States, Dr. Alajaji held a part-time clinical instructor position for the post-graduate training program at Tufts University, as well as participating in several continuing education courses.

Dr. Alajaji has worked as a clinician at The National Guard Hospital for almost ten years. She has been practicing in Sigal Dental Clinics (one of the best private clinics in Riyadh) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since 2015, specializing in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry as well as a special focus on Minimally Invasive Dentistry.

Dr. Hafez is a specialist in multiple fields with advanced experience and
