Libby Wescombe is a women's physique specialist and behaviour change expert. She helps women lose fat, improve their metabolism, build muscle, get body recomp results & maintain them long-term.
One of my favorite things about Libby Wescombe is that she is always challenging the dogma in the realm of fitness and fat loss. Her approach empowers women to tune into their bodies, get to know their hunger and fullness cues, and eat without fear and rigidity instead of perpetually tracking macros and pre-portioning out foods they think they "should" eat.
Libby shares about her past growing up in a cult, her journey from crossfit to training and coaching in her own unique way, and dispels some misunderstandings about movement, exercise intolerance, and fat loss. Go ahead and like and or share this episode if you found it to be helpful!

Jay Feldman: cholesterol myths, fat loss, & intuition
02 Jun 2023
01:17:48
I'm honored to share this conversation with Jay Feldman.
Jay is a health coach, independent health researcher, and the host of The Energy Balance Podcast. He has degrees in neuroscience and exercise physiology from the University of Miami and decided to forgo medical school after realizing that the conventional medical approach was not the solution to the health problems that so many of us face.
After working through various conventional and alternative health paradigms and trialing countless diets (including everything from vegetarian to keto), Jay came across the idea that cellular energy is the foundation of our health. He now uses a bioenergetic approach to help men and women around the world maximize their cellular energy, optimize their health, and achieve freedom from low-energy symptoms like chronic hunger & cravings, fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, gut issues, and stubborn weight gain.
In this solo episode, I take a deep dive into all things constipation: what causes it, what makes it worse, and remedies to support overcoming chronic constipation when it feels like you've tried EVERYTHING and you're still feeling backed up & hopeless.

After being diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease & co-infections, tapeworms, an anxiety disorder, chronic fatigue, early-onset ovarian failure, candida, heavy metal & mold toxicity, hypothyroidism, MCAS, gastroparesis, etc. I found myself hopeless and even more depleted the more treatments I attempted.
After a bumpy and seemingly hopeless struggle to find health, it was by coming back to the nervous system and learning to create safety with EFT tapping and brain rewiring techniques that I finally started to find hope and eventually, find health again. Later finding the work of Dr. Ray Peat and his ideas of bioenergetic healing, I witnessed my physical body starting to follow the mind in its vitality. It's because of Ray that I learned to pay attention and tend to what my body was needing on a physical level, adjusting as I gathered more data & a better understanding of what cells need to be happy and well-fed.
I am also the founder of Living Roots Wellness & Tapping with T (a community of self-healers and app for rewiring the brain).
Originally a Colon Hydrotherapist by training, I now works as an EFT brain rewiring coach.
I hold space for groups and 1:1 clients seeking deeper trauma-informed work to get to the root of their chronic illnesses, utilizing “brain rewiring & EFT tapping” as my primary tools in addition to somatic experiencing, breathwork, IFS parts work, & CBT.
My mission is to support those dealing with highly complex cases of “chronic illness” & trauma patterns that may have lost hope in their ability to heal. I empower you with simple, research-based self-healing tools to guide you back to yourself, re-build your confidence, your purpose, your light, and to ultimately, heal yourself.
