Revolutionary Leap in Anti-Ageing Skincare: Anna Mitsios of Edible Beauty Unveils Groundbreaking New Product Addressing Cellular Ageing
Season 3 · Episode 37
samedi 1 février 2025 • Duration 37:06
Today’s guest is Anna Mitsios, naturopath, skincare formulator and founder of Edible Beauty Australia
Anna’s journey began in the corporate world, where she spent over a decade specialising in corporate finance and private banking. However, a pivotal moment in her life came at the age of 18 when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
This diagnosis sparked her deep dive into botanicals, nutrition, and holistic health as she sought to manage her autoimmune condition and help others achieve optimal health.
In 2014, Anna took a leap and launched Edible Beauty while working as a naturopath at a fertility clinic. There, she realised there was a gap in the market for truly safe, effective skincare—products that were free from endocrine disruptors and harmful chemicals. So, she created a line of skincare so pure, you could almost eat it.
Anna is a firm believer that beauty begins from within. She developed Edible Beauty not just as a skincare line, but as a holistic wellness range, where products nourish both the skin and body from the inside out.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Anna for almost a decade, and I’ve witnessed Edible Beauty grow into an innovative brand that continues to evolve while staying true to its core values of transparency, integrity, and efficacy.
Today, Anna is here to share her expertise in health and skincare formulation as she introduces her latest groundbreaking product—a high-performance anti-aging solution that targets aging at the cellular level. I’m excited to share this with you.
• What is the last beauty product you purchased? Bon Charge LED Mask
• What’s been your best beauty discovery in the last 12 months? Spermidine which is the key ingredient in Super Stem Cell Concentrate. Click here to see before and after images.
• Your desert island skincare product? Edible Beauty Snowflower Oil
• Professional treatment you swear by? Natural Enzyme Botanical Facial
• Best piece of beauty or wellness advice you can share? Address your stress - as it takes a toll on our body and beauty.

Alison is one of Australia's most in-demand conscious career, business and leadership coaches and I am so thrilled to have her at The Beauty Breakfast Summit as an MC and Speaker on The 16th of March 2023.
Alison and I started recording a 5min chat, a teaser of sorts for The Meet The Summit Speaker Podcast Episode that went live recently.
However our 5 min chat soon turned into 25.
And I wanted to share our full conversation here because I know that brand founders and brand builders from all industries would get so much value from this conversation and from Alison’s conscious career space OFF.
At time of recording there are still tickets available to The Beauty Breakfast Summit and we would love for you to join us. Bring along your team or come yourself, we will both be there and we cannot wait to see you.
At the summit Alison will be setting the tone for our morning together and she will be offering some powerful words of wisdom and encouragement around the topic of what it means to build something that means something, and how to navigate feelings of fear, hopelessness and defeat.
I am a very devoted member of Alison’s conscious career space Off - and it’s within this safe, supportive and inspiring container that Alison, her colleague Lucy and I shaped and evolved The Green Edit event into the very special offering it is today.
And I wanted to create this episode and space for Alison to share in more detail her passion for supporting brand founders and brand builders and how her conscious career space off is evolving in 2023.

Welcome to this very special episode of The Green Edit Podcast. Today I have the pleasure of speaking with a few of the incredible industry experts who will be speaking at The Beauty Breakfast Summit on Thursday the 16th of March 2023 in Sydney.
I’ve worked with clean beauty and wellness brands for almost a decade, and as a result I have really come to understand the pain points and challenges that they experience when trying to scale their business.
This realisation really formed the basis of The Green Edit in general, but I'm really excited that things are expanding, and The Green Edit Beauty Breakfast Summit will officially happen in Sydney on March 16.
The event will bring together 14 of Australia's leading industry experts in beauty retail, media and business, the full speaker list is in the show notes. This has been a year in the works, and there is nothing quite like it.
A big thank you to our event partners for helping me bring The Beauty Breakfast Summit to life. I am so proud to have the support of Buttr Marketing, Active Pharma, Maddocks and we are thrilled to have the Qantas Rewards Store beauty buying team at the event, they are growing their online clean and sustainable beauty offering and are looking forward to meeting and connecting with aligned beauty brand founders - you will find them at the Qantas Coffee Cart at the summit.
So today as a bit of a teaser, I have had the pleasure of chatting to some of our summit speakers:

Elise Wilson - Are Media Australia
Elysha Sullivan - Sephora Australia
Danielle Gay - Gritty Pretty
Elizabeth Roberts - RIISE
Will Kepreotes - Buttr Marketing

They are joining the Beauty Breakfast summit as they want to connect with you and hear more about your brand and story. Which means this is the event you need to be at to make these valuable connections.

How The Beauty Industry Can Become More Sustainable With Waste Revolution’s Plastic Neutral Certification
Season 2 · Episode 23
vendredi 9 septembre 2022 • Duration 39:09
Welcome to The Green Edit Podcast, your go-to destination for clean, high-performance beauty, hosted by founder & Organic Makeup Artist, Cathy Tolpigin.
On this podcast, you’ll hear interviews with brand founders, formulators, beauty innovators, inspiring entrepreneurs and wellness experts. Together we unpack the various definitions of clean, share inspiring brand stories, and cover the latest innovations in the green beauty industry — with a few product recommendations thrown in, of course.
We want to inspire you to re-think your routine; to discover cleaner options without ever having to sacrifice efficacy, luxury or performance.
Today’s guests Harry Smith and Chris Lam are founders of Waste Revolution Australia.
They have created Australia’s leading plastic neutral certification, which helps companies measure, reduce and offset their plastic.
I first heard about Waste Revolution Australia when I interviewed, Inika Organic’s Global Brand Manager, Polly Roderick on episode 19 of the podcast. She announced that Inika had just become the first plastic neutral makeup brand in the world.
I was curious learn more, especially as I will be presenting at the Beauty Insiders Industry event on the topic of beauty packaging and sustainability. I’m currently deep in the research.
I have been speaking with many beauty brand founders to gain insights about their packaging and sustainability, it’s clear that it can often be a difficult and challenging process to navigate. Essentially beauty packaging is important, it's the vessel that protects and preserves a brands formulation. It maintains the integrity and shelf life of active ingredients. And packaging function and aesthetics are important for branding, retail and for engaging consumers.
Waste Revolution’s model of measure, reduce and offset plastic usage, unlocks corporate capital and channels it to recycling and plastic collection while supporting local communities. And better yet, Waste Revolution works to compliment existing consumer facing recycling programs such as Teracycle and Close The Loop.
I hope this episode inspires other beauty brands to reach out and work with Harry and Chris who are creating a new standard. One where all businesses are fully accountable for their impact on the environment – both plastic and carbon.
- Last product you purchased - Almond Oil as a face oil.
- What’s been your best beauty discovery this year - Living in the tropics - has made his skin less dry and more hydrated.
- Your desert island skincare product - Sunscreen - preferable in plastic neutral packaging
- Professional treatment you swear by - Harry would like to remind himself and encourage us all to donate blood to the Red Cross.
- Best piece of beauty or wellness advice you can share - Smile :)
