  • The 5 steps you can take to make sure your business is making you money.
  • Who is your ideal customer? Your product will not benefit everyone from ages 19-92.  Narrow this down and figure out who you can help.
  • Go beyond your product, create and teach your ideal customers.
  • Showing up. When you show up every day you can be profitable.
  • Do the work that matters, that gives you the biggest ROI (Return on Investment)

Stop Apologizing

Today we are talking about money and the fear of selling higher-priced products. I’ll share my own money mindset story and encourage you to think about where your money stories are coming from and ways to change your Money Mindset.  Stop feeling bad, reframe your way of thinking and sell the product! When people need something they are going to buy it no matter what, so why not offer the product and have them buy from you?  Let’s dive in.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Your Money Mindset and how it can be prohibitive as you grow your business if you let it.
  • If you don’t believe in every part of your product and business it's going to be really hard to sell it.
  • You can’t be apologetic about anything in your product line. There will be pieces/products you don't like, there will be some you love - that is part of it! 
  • Think beyond the cost and think of the transformation the product can do for your customer.
  • If you just think about how expensive it is and don’t ask people to buy it, it will be a problem.  
  • Change your money Mindset - don’t see money as a scarcity, shift away from that.  You don’t have to worry about other people's financial situations.
  • What you can worry about is whether or not your product can solve a problem.  If it can solve a problem, people are going to buy it.
  • If there is a need for it, it will happen, but you have to get out of your mind that you are inconveniencing someone and putting them in a tough financial situation.
  • If there is a transformation (Hello, all products have one!), then there is nothing to worry about.
  • Let go of this belief, around asking other people to spend money.  You are only offering a solution to their problem.
  • Think about where your money stories are coming from and change your Money Mindset. You aren’t asking anyone to buy, you are merely offering a solution to their problem.

In this episode, we are talking about the Holidays!  Is it too soon?  I don’t think so! Today I’ll share a couple of tips for how you can maximize your sales during this holiday season.  Let’s get started.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • How it’s not too soon to start talking about the holidays!
  • People are spending money, and in this time of recession, people are also looking for additional money.
  • Your messaging - we talk about this a lot - Your brand is your messaging.
  • Think about who your Ideal Customer is and what the holidays do to her. Then think and dig deep for ways you can solve the problem that she has.
  • If you put this into action you will be up-leveling what you offer, and you’ll be doing it differently - which will make you stand out!
  • Help your customer in their life then connect your product to their life. Connection is so important!
  • Don’t just sell your product - solve a problem for your customer.
  • Don’t be shady, be authentic. Show her through your messaging that she can’t live without your product.
  • What is your goal for January?
  • Start building relationships and content now to start attracting new leads to keep you going in January.  
  • What can you do for your audience, customers, and team members to ensure they have a great holiday, and beyond?

Today we are talking about one of the lies Direct Sellers are being told.  There are four big lies, but today we are focusing on lie #2.  The second lie you, as a Direct Seller,  are being told is all you need to do is share your company's posts and put your product first.  This is not true my friends! It is so tempting to copy what everyone else is doing, but when you share other people's images and writings they have created, it's not your brand.  Let’s dive in today and talk about branding yourself and setting yourself apart from everyone else.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The four big lies Direct Sellers are being told. 
  • People follow you for you. No matter what you sell, or what you do, people are going to follow you.
  • When you speak their language, powerful things happen!
  • Your branding sets you apart from every other direct seller. Your audience is drawn to you! Not your product or business plan, but YOU.
  • People don’t care as much about your product as they do about who you are.
  • Building your brand helps you connect with them on a deeper level.
  • Branding is also your messaging. What you say to your ideal customer and your content, are all so important!
  • Understand what your messaging is and learn how to make it valuable and help you stand out.
  • It's not about the product but how you can serve your customer on a deeper level and how you can solve a problem for them.
  • The connection should be first and foremost, not the selling of the product, that will come!
  • When there is more than just your product and the pieces of content your company creates, and you add value, that is when the magic happens!
  • It's all about building relationships and taking the time to connect on a deeper level.
  • What problem can you solve for your ideal customer? Dig Deep.
  • What value can you bring to their lives?

  • They want to resonate with your beliefs, values, style, sense of humor, and dreams.
  • The only way to connect with your Ideal customer is to be willing to step out from behind your product and be all of you.
  • You are the Secret Sauce - not your company, not your product, not your hostess rewards, or your annual sales.  It's YOU!
  • But Rachel, what do I have to give? You have so much to give!
  • We limit ourselves by buying into the limiting belief of others that we at some point decide are our own.  
  • Start here - Your business is a real business. You are a business owner. Start believing this!
  • Learn the skills you need, and start believing that what you want is possible for you.
