324 Using the Disturbance Model
jeudi 1 septembre 2022 • Duration 26:46
Brian and Chad talk about the Disturbance Model that speaks of using power to influence a given cause. When a leader uses power to influence their cause, resistance will be a by-product. It is easy to demonize the resistance, but a good leader will instead learn from the resistance.
Here are three ways the leader can benefit from the resistance:
- You are probably not as clear and convicted about your cause as you think you are.
- You are not comfortable with power, being in charge, or making waves.
- If you are experiencing mostly resistance for a long period of time, you are probably not good at this or have a weak cause.
