mercredi 21 août 2024Duration 01:06:31

Send us a text

Andrew Ryan, NY bassist/recording engineer and member of the group 9 Horses discusses their latest release STRUM. This album showcases a unique blend of classical, jazz, and contemporary music. Joining Andrew Ryan in the group is Joe Brent (mandolin), Sara Caswell (violin), The music by 9 horses is imaginative and deeply emotive. The Album strum is made up of 8 tracks and each tune really takes the listener on a journey with a lot of hairpin turns. It’s a fantastic record that’s very engaging. The interplay between all the musicians in this group and the layering on the album is delicate and joins together in a really cool way.

Andrew also discusses recording techniques, bass sound and navigating the music business.
