It's not only inpsiring but also empowering to hear his story and how much he cares deeply about how a strong gym culture is the backbone of what makes any martial art or fitness centre successful.

His honest and raw approach alongside his opinions he shares about his personal journey and experiences in previous dojos really strongly shapes the do's and dont's of what to be aware of in a gym.

Solocast #1 - Confidence and Getting Uncomfortable22 Feb 202200:20:37
A Run To Remember - 100KM for Veterans and Law Enforcement21 Feb 202202:15:13
My name is Sachin and I have been involved with fitness in some form or another since I was a teenager. I went to high school in Plano, Texas and while on the wrestling team, I learned an important lesson that has become the foundation of my life:   I returned to Canada after high school, and unfortunately my commitment to fitness wavered drastically. My late 20s when I really took up an active lifestyle again. At the age of 27, I got a new job, and with it a revelation - I was 230 lbs and clearly overweight. I didn't like the person looking back at me from the mirror, so, I got a membership at my local gym and began to lift.   The gym became a sanctuary, and I began to look and feel better. The pounds were shed and confidence was gained. Eventually, I transitioned into bodybuilding, competing for a decade.   Changes in life brought about changes in perspective, and I realized I was losing interest in bodybuilding. I knew I still wanted to train and compete, so I began looking for new places to focus my energy.     I ended up deciding to take up Brazilian jiujitsu. I'd always wanted to try it, and as it turns out, it was one of the hardest and most satisfying activities I had ever tried! At 39 years young, I put on my very first gi and took to the mats. I was fairly strong from bodybuilding, but I realized I was sorely lacking when it came to my cardiovascular conditioning. Keeping up with better conditioned and younger practitioners was hard, but like I learned from my wrestling days in Plano, I put in the work and slowly but surely, my cardio improved.   As you all know, COVID-19 changed a lot of things, and for me it meant having to pause my BJJ training only four years in. I was unable to hit the mats, and to make matters worse, I wasn't even able to go to the gym. Physical activity has always been my outlet, so I knew I had to think of alternatives on how to keep myself sane.   Again, I thought back to my high school wrestling days, and remembered how much I hated running. With everything shut down, I was left with no other alternative so I decided to take up the thing I dreaded....running.   In August 2020, I laced up my runners and hit the pavement. I'd love to tell you I was a natural, but it would be a lie. I struggled to do 5 km, but I stuck to it. I ran, even on the days I didn't want to, and slowly, I started feeling better about it. Forward to 2022 I have raised over 20K for veterans through my run to remember initiative running 100km with plans ahead to run across the country of Canada.

Srvent talks Rap Culture, Creativity, Standing out as an Artist in 2021, Juggling Multiple Passions and Making Money from them24 May 202101:00:33

Srvent is a rapper, producer, filmmaker, and author from Edison, Alberta

Before all the projects, performances, publications, and productions ever came to be, Srvent started his journey in his parents basement. He was a toddler hellbent on slapping the piano keys, trying to stretch his arms as far apart as they could. Back then he was only little Spencer Richard.

A typical middle child (three brothers), Spencer found ways over the years to seek attention. He sang and made dance routines in the living-room for company, he composed wordless pieces for the piano, signed up for Air-Band competitions in his school, made LEGO creations for days, and wrote stories on a blue screen on what would be now considered an ancient device. But what might have started as attention-seeking led to the fortunate discovery of his need to create.

The piano was his first instrument to process emotions, and eventually around the age of 10 he was enrolled in piano lessons. When he rebelled against learning how to read music, his parents and piano teacher conspired to help him develop his natural ear and composition abilities instead. This became the foundation for much of his musical growth… Even though he still can’t read music, it turns out that he never needed to. He performed and won talent shows with his original compositions, ultimately performing to an audience of over 8 thousand people for the Alberta Winter Games in 2006.

Starting a Business is NOT a Steep Climb Upward 12 May 202101:31:39

Leading up to covid Bryan was getting prepped for his first men's physique competition down in Halifax Canada. He had spent the last year building a stage wining physique with his coach Ryan Gray. Due to the unfortunate occurrence of Covid, the entire country had shut down two weeks leading to the show. Absolutely crushed, Bryan’s perspective of the lockdowns was to get bigger and bring an even better physique the next time around. Being a welder by trade, he was fortunate enough that his uncle had a little shop outside the city on his farm where he made his own rack and bench, purchased a barbell and some plates, and was able to continue training at home. An idea had sparked in Bryan’s mind… Everyone was charging a crazy amount for gym equipment, used and new. He posted his rack on Facebook marketplace to see if anyone else needed a rack and bench with the main idea of just wanting to help people get affordable, locally made equipment. Within two weeks he had up to 15 paid deposits! Off and running he went. He spent all summer hand-making everything from full cages, half racks, benches, independent stands, and almost every accessory you could think of! Fast forward to today he has now moved into his own shop, invested everything he has into his tools and business, and now has his vision set on creating the most badass commercial line of equipment to come out of Canada. Not to mention the opening of the Bryks Fit Compound later next year to not only showcase all his equipment but have it as a fully functioning gym with an environment like no other! Stay tuned Bryks Fit is only beginning!

We thought it was appropriate to bring on Kaylor during this time where Tucker Carlson recently came to share his viewpoints on Alberta politics.
