This week we talkabout everyone's new favourite film: Paul Thomas Anderson's 'One Battle After Another'. But did we enjoy it? Did we think it deserved a place on our shortlist for films of the year? No spoilers here, but we will tell you there's plenty of chat about the performances, cinematography, story, politics and general mastery on show throughout this film. We discuss the political mirroring to today's world, rave about those rolling hills and conduct a draft pick of Leonardo DiCaprio movies. Enjoy!

This week we talkabout the latest movies, TV Shows and pieces of entertainment news. We give our thoughts on 'The Simpsons Movie 2' announcement, speculate what could be next for Martin Scorsese and pay tribute to the legendary Robert Redford. Plus we give some early thoughts on 'Marvel Zombies' and 'The Paper'. We have full reviews of Spike Lee's new joint 'Highest 2 Lowest', A Coen brother movie 'Honey Don't' and the latest Stephen King adaptation 'The Long Walk'. And unbelievably that's not all. We also have thoughts on 'Black Rabbit', 'All of You' and the newest 'Demon Slayer' movie. It's jam packed as our monthly episodes always tend to be. Enjoy!

In the Xenomorph's next trip to Earth, he lands on a start line, surrounded by young heroes from across America Mr Xeno is given no choice but to take part in the long walk. Will his feet stay in tact? Will he make it to the end? Will he just eat the other competitors? We'll have to wait and see. 'Alien: Amble'...coming to a cinema near you.

This week we talkabout the latest releases in film and TV...sort of. For one week only Ellis is without Gwilym, and is joined by regular visitor to the pod Gareth Bradwick. Ellis and Gareth discuss the newest addition to the Jurassic franchise, a butting of heads for Cena and Elba in 'Heads of State' and praise a UK indie film 'The Ballad of Wallis Island'. They do give brief thoughts on the two big superhero releases, but they'll be given their own episode very soon. Plus, there's Marvel news stories, Avatar trailers and lots more to discuss.

talkabout: Into the Podcast-Verse

This week we talkabout lego, spider-people, meatballs and cocaine bears as we rank the Top Ten Lord & Miller projects. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have worked on a hilariously individual collection of standout films as producers, writers and directors, and we've ranked all the films that both of them have been involved in using your sent in lists (thanks by the way) and our compiled top ten's. 
We also kick the episode off with a draft pick of Batman films and Gwilym makes that tough decision and claims which Spider-Verse film is better.

Did you know a Sasquatch is another name for BigFoot? Ellis just thought it was a fruit, hence the Sasquash in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. What an idiot!

This week on talkabout we debunk and review another family classic. This time it's the bizarre, zany, 1990's Disney film: 'The Parent Trap'. We answer questions like: Does everything need to be labelled? Why don't they see sooner that their twins? Why is the Mum the MVP in the whole damn film? 

The end of this episode gets crazy...there are rewatch buttons, potentially completed shelves (but not in the way you'd think) and Gwilym's computer dies. It's all go this week, and another fun episode. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

This week we talkabout the best Oscar Winning Original Songs released between 1990 and the present day. From Titanic to 8 Mile; Aladdin to Frozen; James Bond to Lord of the Rings; there's been a whole host of films that have provided excellent original songs alongside them. We use a tournament bracket to decide which Oscar Winning Original Song is the best.

We find one helluva mashup. Ever wondered what Eminem and Celine Dion would sound like together? Us neither! 

Grab your hairbrush or deodorant can or spatula, and sing into it like a microphone, because it's another tournament episode and this one's top of the charts.
