This episode is we speak with Kimberly Anne. Kimberly hit the road in August as a full time vanlifer. She was excited and looking forward to this lifestyle, however, things did not go as she dreamed about. She hit a few bumps along the way—literally hitting her head all the time in her new tiny space. She also had a hard time meeting people and making friends and even had a van fire. But now, three months into her journey, Kimberly is hitting her stride and she’s here to share what she learned from her first few months on the road.

Our guest this week on the Travels with Squeaky podcast is Sarah Leamy. Sarah is a writer, editor, public speaker and full-time van dweller. I just finished her book Vanlife and I highly recommend it for a look into her first few months of travel in the Pacific Northwest with two dogs and a wild cat named Stevie. Sarah shares the ups and downs of vanlife with honesty and a lot of humor. We had a wonderful conversation about what it takes to live a life on the road (not a lot), traveling with furry friends and meeting strangers along the way.
