First time overseas? Don't immediately buy an international sim card.

The #1 reason I don't is because you can't call or receive calls on your regular phone with a foreign sim card in your phone.  I also talk about how two-factor authentication is an issue with sim cards. The first time I traveled overseas, I lost a lot of sleep wondering how I was going to communicate in foreign countries because I didn't know the language.
