Letting Go 10 Min Meditation 1 of 7 | Powerlessness Is a Strength Not a Weakness!

mardi 26 mai 2026Duration 10:19

Powerlessness Is a Strength Not a Weakness!

Meditation 1 of 7

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our first 10-minute meditation in our Letting Go series. As an alcoholic, learning to surrender and letting go is the essence of powerlessness in the first step. In this series, we are going to talk about a specific tool in each meditation that has helped me.

Remember, this meditation series offers 5-minute, 10-minute, and 20-minute guided meditations. The tools remain the same, with longer meditations providing more time for reflection and shared experiences about each tool.

Step 1 - 5 Min Meditation 1 of 9 | "We" Not "Me"!

lundi 18 mai 2020Duration 05:17

"We" Not "Me"!

Meditation 1 of 9

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our first 5-minute meditation in our Step 1 Series. The first word of step 1 is "We" for a reason. When I came to AA, I had no idea how much of my recovery was dependent on my relationships with others. We discuss a different tool in each Step 1 meditation.

The purpose of this meditation is to look through our thoughts to clearly see the recovery that is at our fingertips, rather than focusing on our present circumstances that create the illusion that a drink or a fearful action would be a good idea. I know from personal experience that neither is ever a good idea. It is easy to lose sight of this when I am overwhelmed. Hopefully, this meditation will help you form a better perspective.

Remember, this meditation series offers 5-minute, 10-minute, and 20-minute guided meditations. The tools remain the same, with longer meditations providing more time for reflection and shared experiences about each tool.

What Is an Inventory?

Meditation 3 of 9

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our third 10-minute meditation in our Step 4 Series. An inventory is not a list of your sins or mistakes. An inventory allows us to look at patterns of behavior, both good and bad. This process helps us to realize we are not bad people, just scared children. We will discuss a different tool in each Step 4 meditation.

The purpose of this meditation is to look through our thoughts to clearly see the recovery that is at our fingertips, rather than focusing on our present circumstances that create the illusion that a drink would be a good idea. Meditation 4 of 9

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our fourth 10-minute meditation in our Step 4 Series. We discuss the reasons it is essential that we write this step and how the written step is used to work some of the other steps. We will talk about this concept in this meditation and a different tool in each of the other Step 4 meditations.

Listing Our Resentments!

Meditation 5 of 9

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our fifth 10-minute meditation in our Step 4 Series. Our resentment list is crucial for our recovery. We will discuss how to identify and list our resentments. We will talk about this process in this meditation and a different tool in each of the other Step 4 meditations.

The purpose of this meditation is to look through our thoughts to clearly see the recovery that is at our fingertips, rather than focusing on our present circumstances that create the illusion that a drink would be a good idea. Meditation 6 of 9

Hi, I am Buddy C, and this is our sixth 10-minute meditation in our Step 4 Series. Completing my 4th Step lists was not the easiest part of the steps but brought some of the most rewards and was for sure essential in my recovery. We will discuss a different tool in each Step 4 meditation.
