Welcome to SideQuests Live actual play audio podcast edition! A new DnD5e homebrew campaign. This is our first episode (with recap prologue of what happened pre-recording.

 We're trying something a bit new - our focus has been livestream video enabled games but we are now also adding an audio only actual play tabletop roleplaying game. Due to construction on our streaming studio we aren't able to do the livestream for a little bit but really want to keep gaming. So We're doing recorded audio podcast format and likely doing both moving forward. 

We also return to the venerable Dungeons and Dragons with me as storyteller. Recorded live on location, with the authentic feel of being at the table with friends.

We will continue to produce our video edition and play both Shadowrun and likely D&D but are currently (slowly) constructing our studio. So for now audio and recorded games is a lot more manageable. We love the live audience interaction and will definitely return to that as soon as possible. In the meantime you are welcome to send suggestions for names or other ideas to our Instagram or Twitter and we will still incorporate those suggestions into our games. Watch our Instagram for our #NOS or #nameourstuff posts and keep the creative input coming! That's the thing about RPGs -  You do really make it so much better than just one person crafting the story, and your input makes that even better!

Welcome to SideQuests Live actual play audio podcast edition. Here is episode 2 in our new homebrew DnD5e campaign.  Recorded live at Spielhaus games cafe in Toronto, please excuse the background 

We rejoin with a hero we met last time - Hen, as she struggles with the fallout of our last episode. 

Darcy, Gord, and new to this campaign, Bela, play as our intrepid heroes in dark times.  They meet face to face with Lord Commander Ostrin, and test the mercy of the extreme sect of Pelor - The Eye of Pelor.  Unlikely companions again struggle to assist each other, but can they manage to work fast enough to prevent being lumped together as enemies of the empire?  You never know who you'll find yourself working with in the dark shadows cast beneath the overly bright burning light.

Episode 11: The Gathering Storm *Remixed/edited out the breaks, etc.*

Leaving their meeting with succubus the team has more information and a favour. They've also had some members part to follow their own path for a time and a new half-orc and two rescued farmers to get home safely. As they travel though their way is impeded by a growing storm. As the weather itself seems to grow to impede them, they must decide whether to risk the open road or shelter in a nearby ruin, but sometimes secrets await below the surface to be discovered, if they are lucky or wise, but they may not be quite ready for what they uncover or they might bury it forever before they can find what they need.

They seek a brief respite at a friendly family members house, but soon the heroes must begin to make their way across the island to the only other 'port' - between Burrard and Smugglers cove lies a dark swamp which they choose to cross. Their mission to return to Tasvrell hangs in the balance as they continue their perilous journey and they meet new potential allies along the way...
