TV personality Zara McDermott goes on a nostalgic tour of Romford and Upminster. Her journey begins at the Atik nightclub (formerly Fiction) in Romford, where she reminisces about her early clubbing days. She then visits her childhood home in Upminster, and takes a trip to her secondary school, where she opens up about her experiences with bullying and being a victim of revenge porn. Racing driver Billy Monger enjoys the passenger seat for once, as he journeys with Alex Legouix through Sussex and Surrey in a Toyota C-HR GR Sport. Billy shows us the places which shaped him, reveals whether he will return to racing and shares how he is striving to change motorsport. 

The trip starts in Charlwood, the village where he grew up. We visit the hospital where he underwent rehabilitation after a horrific racing accident which led to the amputation of both lower legs. We stop at his nearest karting track in Crawley where he enjoyed beating friends on the track, we learn about training for a gruelling Ironman event, and we find out what Celebrity Race Across the World is really like.

Iain Stirling takes Alex around his adopted home city of London reminiscing about working the comedy circuit, his time at CBBC, taking part in Task Master and writing for Love Island.

We matched Iain with a classic 1972 MGB GT (now converted to electric!). The drive takes us from Tattershall Castle Comedy club to the BBC TV Centre, past Iain’s local sewing haunt, Ginglick nightclub and finally Gladstone park – an inner-city haven for him and his family during lockdown.

It’s a first for Show on the Road as we take a married couple out for a drive. Heavily pregnant Caitlin Sheil and Leah Joseph join us for a ride in a VW Camper van around Ilford and Chigwell, to the east of London.

They reveal how their TikTok careers blossomed and its impact on their lives. They also talk openly about parenting, their experiences of prejudice as a same sex couple and how society can move forward with diversity and inclusion.

Their journey begins at King George hospital in Ilford where Leah was born, we visit her family home where the couple spent the early stages of their relationship, then onto Greggs in Epping Forest Shopping Park where Leah worked before pursuing an influencer career and we finish the journey in Loughton at the restaurant where they celebrated their first round of IVF.
