It’s election day for Ray, ruin someone else’s good time day for Marnie (as usual), and take the gay out for a spin day for Hannah’s dad, who has a nice time with Elijah. Jessa, Adam, Ace and Mimi Rose have one of the most deranged dinners we’ve ever seen, and we end the episode in a very different place than we begin, which is kinda nice!

Spoiler up top: this is, in our opinion, probably the best episode of Girls we’ve seen yet. It rules. The four gals are all together, there’s almost too many amazing lines to write down, there’s realistic friend dynamics on a weekend away at Marnie’s aunt’s beach house, and there’s a Shoshanna monologue and resulting scene that is so good we just had to play it in full.

In the season 6 premiere, Carrie opens the stock market and goes on ALL the dates, including a first official date with Berger, and she runs into AIDEN. Samantha becomes the patron saint of "white gentrifiers getting mad about other white gentrifiers," then bangs a guy all the way to federal prison. Miranda realizes she's in love with Steve and tries to tell him. Charlotte is bummed about Harry's insistence on marrying a Jewish woman.

Season 5's finale is a great one, and it sees guest star Nathan Lane get married in the Hamptons...to a WOMAN?! Carrie sees Berger again, which goes great until it doesn't, Charlotte goes with less-hairy Harry (after a back waxing) to the wedding, and Samantha hosts a big party at Richard's Hamptons estate. Miranda hooks up with Steve and catches some feelings. Also, there are melons. Enough with the za za zoo!

In The Big Journey, Carrie forgets Big gave her a FREE PLANE TICKET and takes a train to San Francisco to try to get laid. Samantha joins her on the trip because she's sick of New York. Charlotte gets busy with Harry in his friend's bachelor pad, and Miranda does nothing! Come for the Sex and the City chat, stay for Jon's solo show-within-a-show when Kevin goes to get whiskey from the other room.

Carrie has an all-time "selfish Carrie" episode as she gets a book review, but obsesses over a "bad face" she gets from Aidan's latest ex, Nina Katz. Miranda struggles with a baby who won't stop crying, Samantha struggles to relate to Miranda's new life, and struggles to return a vibrator. Charlotte finalizes her divorce and meets a certain bald lawyer we feel like is gonna be around a while. It's Goldenblatt, baby!

Carrie's got a big book launch party, she meets Berger, Sam burns her face off (temporarily), Miranda holds off on telling an f-buddy that she has a kid until the VERY last moment, and Charlotte bones a long-haired blond dude who gets scared away by Bunny.

Carrie does the photo shoot for her book's cover, Samantha blows a delivery guy and gets sensitive about it, Miranda goes to Weight Watchers and snags a man who's very enthusiastic about going downtown for the ladies, and Charlotte gets into self-help books before almost murdering a woman with one.

It's Charlotte's 36th birthday, and she's decided to stay at 35, but go to Atlantic City (after much persuasion by Carrie). Carrie wants to rally the girls together for a real weekend out, Miranda gets her first nights away from the baby, and Samantha struggles with losing her mind over cheatin', private jet flyin', pearl thong gift givin' boyfriend. Woo!
