The Dallas Cowboys stunned the NFL work by trading for wide receiver George Pickens. The Cowboys send a 3rd and 5th round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for Pickens and a 6th round pick. Former NFL QB Chase Daniel and The Athletic's Cowboys beat writer, Jon Machota, react to the trade.

The Cowboys were rumored to be in the wide receiver market and interested in possibly selecting one in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys front office could not find a #2 wideout in the draft. Instead, Jones sends picks to Pittsburgh in exchange for Pickens.

Former NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is still a free agent and is deciding where to play if he plays in 2025. The Pittsburgh Steelers are among the teams vying for Rodgers’ services and newly acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf may be helping the recruiting process. He and Rodgers recently had a throwing session. The Athletic’s Senior NFL Insider Dianna Russini shares her insights on the throwing session and former NFL QB Chase Daniel reacts to the news.

Dianna is in Palm Beach for the March NFL owners meeting and attended the coach’s breakfast. She shares unique insights from conversations with various head coaches and reacts to Mike Tomlin discussing the possibility of adding Rodgers to his quarterback room.

Plus, with the 2025 NFL Draft less than a month away, what do the Tennessee Titans do with the first overall selection? Their organization recently had a large contingency present for Miami Hurricane’s QB Cam Ward’s Pro Day. However, the Titans remain open to potentially trading out of the top spot if the price is right.
