Indy month rolls on with Roll Film and we are reviewing the classic indy film Swingers. This movie launched some amazing careers, it manages to be funny and heartfelt at the same time. We hope this and all of our independent reviews inspire future filmmakers to get out and create!

Welcome to Independent Film Month all May on Roll Film and we are kicking this month off with an amazing episode featuring writer/director/actor Seven Martini! We couldn't be more excited to have him on and share how he came up with this romantic comedy of errors that draws from his own personal experience for his 2025 film BitterSweet. The winter games are upon us and the Roll Film crew could think of no better theme for this month than For The Gold February! All month will be reviewing movies that revolve around the winter games. Starting off with a bridge movie from last month, Cool Runnings. While Cool Runnings takes lots of liberties with story of the first Jamaican bobsled team but there's still a lot of love and inspiration to be had. And to get the ball rolling we decided to look at this early remake on Nolan's resume, the suspense drama Insomnia. Not only is this Roll Film's last episode for spooky season but also we just hit our one year anniversary of making this movie reviews! We knew we had to bring in an expert for this one so we got threepeat guest Mindy King! Today we looked at the new Amazon horror comedy Totally Killer. Our return of the living guests continue with another spooky season favorite Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil! The Roll Film crew knew to tackle this horror/comedy masterpiece we'd need one of our best guests ever, so we got C Thane Dixon to come back to discuss all the wonderful things about this satire movie. Spooky season continues with Roll Film taking a look at the slasher that started them all Halloween.
