Why You Shouldn't Skip Live Launching (Even If You Hate It)06 May 202600:17:18

Live launching isn't just about making sales.

In fact… that's not even the most valuable part.

In this episode, I'm breaking down my most recent launch (an $80K month from a 3-day challenge) and more importantly, what it reminded me about launching in 2026.

Because here's what I'm seeing right now:

So many course creators want to skip live launching altogether. They want evergreen. Automated. Set-and-forget.

And I get it.

But when you skip live launching, you also skip the fastest way to:

  • Validate your offer
  • Refine your messaging
  • Learn how to actually sell

Inside this episode, I share:

  • The strategy and numbers behind my recent live launch
  • Why live launches are still one of the best ways to grow your audience
  • What you actually gain from being in the room with your audience
  • A real client example of a "failed" launch that gave us everything we needed
  • Why launching is about data, not just revenue

Because launching isn't just about making money.

It's about learning faster, improving faster, and building something that actually converts.

If you've been avoiding launching or felt discouraged by a past one this episode will shift how you see it completely.

How to Create a Course That Sells Well AND Gets Results12 Mar 202600:16:40

Creating a course isn't just about packaging up what you know.

If you want a course that sells consistently and actually gets results for students, there are a few key things you need to get right.

In this episode, I'm breaking down the five things every successful course has in common, from defining the transformation to making sure students experience progress quickly.

Inside this episode we cover:

• Why the transformation matters more than the content
• How to help students experience results as quickly as possible
• Why course delivery and onboarding impact perceived value
• The importance of collecting testimonials early
• And why even the best course in the world still needs to be sold

Because a course that gets results will continue to sell.

And a course that sells well should also change people's lives.

The Truth About Low-Ticket Funnels: Do They Actually Work?26 May 202500:21:53

The Truth About Low-Ticket Funnels: Do They Actually Work?

There's a lot of noise in the online space right now about $27 offers, tiny product funnels, and the promise of passive income on autopilot... But is a low-ticket funnel really the golden ticket to scaling your business? Or is it just another shiny object that leaves you stuck, spinning your wheels, and not making the income you want?

In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on what really works when it comes to low-ticket funnels; how I use them in my business, what I've learned from testing and tweaking my own offers, and the biggest myth I see online that's keeping so many course creators stuck.

We'll talk about:
✨ Why low-ticket funnels aren't a business model (and what they actually are)
✨ The real power of tiny offers. Hint: it's not just about the inital sale
✨ What makes a high-converting low-ticket offer (spoiler: it's not a PDF)
✨ Why this funnel strategy works so well right now in today's online space
✨ And how low-ticket offers fit into a bigger strategy for $30K months

If you're curious about low-ticket funnels or wondering if you should create one, this episode is a must-listen.

3 Ways To Reduce Your Facebook Ad Cost Per Lead12 Nov 202400:21:46

In order to make more sales in a live launch or in an evergreen funnel you either need:

More leads coming into your funnel

OR

You need to increase the conversion rates in your funnel.

It's as simple as that.

Today I'm going to share with you the 3 ways you can reduce your cost per lead from your FB & IG Ads, so that you can get more leads coming through your funnel, without having to increase your budget.

Here's what you'll learn:

  • What an average "CPL" is, and how to set your own benchmark.
  • Why you need to be looking at your funnel (and not just your Ads) when trying to reduce your CPL
  • How your campaign structure impacts your CPL, and the best way to set up your Ads to get more people signing up to your email list
  • Why your media is now the most important past of your Ad; and what you should be split testing.

Organic Marketing Strategies That Will Improve Your Facebook Ad Results15 Oct 202400:18:02

You guys know I love Facebook Ads and Funnels. But having Ads running doesn't mean you don't need to do any other marketing in your business. Facebook Ads need to form part of your overall marketing strategy, they're not a standalone thing.

This is particularly important if you're using Facebook Ads for Evergreen Funnels. When you're selling your courses evergreen style, there are less live touch points, which makes your day-to-day organic presence a little more important.

In today's episode, I'll be sharing:

  • How I show up in my business daily to improve my Facebook Ads performance

  • The social media content that you should be posting to help convert lurkers into leads and sales

  • Why you should be paying attention to your customer journey, and how this can impact how and where you show up

  • How I use Instagram DMs (as an introvert) to network, build connections and convert clients.

How To Use Facebook Ads To Sell An Evergreen Course09 Oct 202400:18:35

When I talk to course creators who want to run Ads, usually there's a bit of hesitation and fear around spending money to make money and there's often a debate around organic v paid marketing.

The way I see it is when you pay to run Ads, you're choosing to be seen. You're paying for the guarantee of your content reaching the right people every single day.

But here's the thing; Paid advertising only ever pays off, when you're strategic around what you're advertising and why.

Boosting an Instagram post and hoping for a course sale, is not the vibe.

Instead, I encourage you to use Ads to fill your funnel, so you can continue to market to your dream leads days, weeks, months & years after they stumble across your sponsored post on the gram.

Today on the Ready, Set, Launch Podcast, I'm sharing with you How To Use Facebook Ads To Sell An Evergreen Course.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • The 3 different types of campaigns you can create to sell an evergreen course, and which one I recommend you start with.

  • How you can get started with making evergreen sales for as little as $3 a day.

  • What creative is working best for us for our lead generation & sales campaigns.

The Evergreen Webinar Funnel Breakdown23 Sep 202400:16:28

Whether you're wanting to sell your course on autopilot or generate high quality leads for your 1:1 services, your business can benefit from having an evergreen webinar funnel.

It's an upgrade from the traditional lead magnet PDF that you can use to grow our list, and the reason why it's an upgrade is because it includes video content. Video is the easiest and fastest way to build up the know, like and trust factor in a funnel.

When you get the topic, presentation & pitch right in the webinar, it's a really easy way to attract clients & sell courses fast.

In this day and age, where people have very short attention spans, and show up live rates are at an all time low, why wouldn't you want to turn your best performing live webinar into something people can watch on demand at 2x speed.

In today's podcast episode, I'm going to give you a breakdown of my evergreen webinar funnel, and how you can create this in your business.

Here's what you'll learn:

  • The 2 different types of evergreen webinar funnels, and which one I prefer

  • What you need to get crystal clear on before building out your funnel (and why this is often overlooked)

  • My evergreen webinar structure

  • The tech requirements of an evergreen funnel

I've helped hundreds of course creators fix their funnels.

In today's podcast episode, I walk you through how to figure out which one you have (and what to do about it).

"Jess, why aren't my Ads working??" is the #1 question I get on the daily.

The good news is; you can find the answer by looking at your data. 🥸

So stop making assumptions about why your cost per lead is high or your sales are low - and instead, learn how to make data based decisions to improve your launch results.

Because if you really want to build a profitable online course based business; you're going to have to read and interpret your numbers.

In this episode, you'll learn:

Do you know why your launches feel insanely stressful even if you're one of those organised people who have every single email scheduled?

In this episode, I'll be sharing with you.

  1. How to build one simple system that converts leads into paying customers fast.

  2. The one thing you need in your funnel to get your dream clients to make a purchasing decision.

  3. How to fill your funnel with dream leads and scale your sales every single month.

How to make money in between your launches14 Feb 202300:19:59

If you create a business model where you have one signature course, and you launch it a few times each year, how are you going to make money outside of those launches?

It's something I don't think many people talk about, and something I don't think I've spoken much about.

But it's really bloody important, because hello, CASH FLOW.

In an ideal world, launches should provide EXCESS cash to your monthly recurring revenue.

This helps:

  1. Create a healthier business model that is not feast or famine

  2. Takes THE PRESSURE off launching

  3. Give you something to sell and talk about all year round

So how can you make money outside of launching your signature product

That's exactly what I'm sharing in this podcast episode!

8 Ways To Sell Out Your Online Offers in 202219 Jan 202200:19:23

Newsflash: You don't need a big "Live Launch" to sell every offer in your online business.

... Some of your offers can sell an autopilot with Facebook Ads.
... Some can sell out with just a few emails.
... Others might only be available as an upsell or downsell to existing customers.

What *is* important is that you have a clear sales strategy for each offer in your business.

❌ And having your online course just sitting on your website gathering dust, isn't going to get you anywhere near your money goals.

Remember, selling IS helping.

Listen to this week's episode of the Ready, Set, Launch podcast, and learn 8 ways to sell out your online offers in 2022.

Planning Your Launch Year12 Jan 202200:21:07

In today's episode, I'm going to share with you my process for planning a year. From how much revenue you want to generate, right through to what your focus needs to be every month, in order for you to hit your income goals.

While I'm not a fan of planning everything in details (I'm more "go with the flow"), I've learnt (the hard way) that you NEED to have loose plans when you're running a business in order to hit your business goals. If you have a goal to hit $100k this year or 1 million this year, you need to know where that money is coming from.

I like loose plans, because I also believe that there is only so much in your control. When it comes to manifesting money, it's best to set your goals and then detach from HOW that money will come to you.

So setting goals & planning = BIG YES

But also, detach from the outcomes of the launches and also be open to following your intuition & pivoting if need be.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  1. Exactly how I plan my year, in terms of launches & hitting income goals.

  2. How to develop a sales strategy for each offer [hint: Not every offer needs a big launch]

  3. A simple way to map your year that gives you structure, confidence and focus each month.
