In today’s episode, Stephen and I will help you see multiple ways in which pornography impacts your life – things like escaping, avoiding relationships, unhealthy fantasy, the pain and difficulty of repairing what you have broken, and more.

Healing, One Brushstroke at a Time
Season 18 · Episode 881
mardi 18 octobre 2022 • Duration 30:18
Today’s guest is Sheila Harkins. Sheila was on the podcast a couple years ago, May 19, 2020, to talk about how to help teens talk about difficult topics. If you’d like to listen to that conversation, it is Episode 749.
But on today’s episode Sheila is here to talk about her own healing from betrayal trauma and divorce. She shares about the long journey of trying to restore a broken marriage and then the aftermath of divorce – and how painting was instrumental in her healing process.
As healing slowly took root in Sheila’s life she was stirred to share her journey with other wives through her paintings. This resulted in the release of her book, Healing, One Brushstroke at a Time, which contains 42 of Sheila’s paintings along with short reflections to help women heal.
