Trauma Work with Marina Yanay-Triner

Known as the compassionate somatic coach, Marina Yanay-Triner is a trauma informed coach who uses somatic tools and somatic experiencing to help her clients heal from illnesses like ME/CFS. She has a background in conflict transformation, a certificate in integrative somatic trauma therapy and a certification from the Institute for Coaching Mastery. In this chat, Marina does an amazing job explaining the theories around trauma being stored in the body and how chronic illnesses like ME/CFS and long Covid can result from repressed emotions and childhood experiences. She explains how we can best listen to our bodies, the difference between sensations and emotions, how to honour our emotions and how to take care of ourselves when doing this deep work.
