Also known as KJ, we had a great interview with the distinguished Malaysian politician who also served as a Minister for almost a decade. As Minister of Health during the early post-Covid era, he played a role in the reopening of borders between Singapore and Malaysia.

Darren and Rahman speak with H.E. Prof. Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (Majma' al-Fiqh al-Islami al-Duwali), who discusses how Muslims can live in peace and build a stronger community, as well as general advice on how Muslims should look into the socio-political contexts of their communities and trust the government. Dzar, Darren, and Rahman discuss recent events in Malaysia, such as the political feud between Mahathir and Anwar, and the wife of former Malaysian finance minister Daim Zainuddin, who has been charged in court with failing to declare assets, including the multimillion-dollar Ilham Tower, as well as plans to expand the Woodlands Checkpoint to five times its current size.

The voting age in Singapore currently stands at 21 years old. Should it be lowered to 18? Rahman proposes that all minimum legal ages in Singapore be set at 18 years old, including the legal drinking age, the minimum legal smoking age, and cinema regulation. Listen in to find out more.

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) recently hosted its annual flagship Singapore Perspectives conference, with the theme "Youth." Dzar, Darren, and Rahman look into one of the issues raised, in which more young people are delaying or avoiding marriage and parenthood entirely, and how this impacts them in light of Singapore's laws. They share what they believe the definition of a family should be.
