Release date – June 5th – but to purchase you have to have an invite from Nintendo from being a Nintendo account holder, The first batch of invitations will go out starting May 8, 2025. People with invites get 72hrs to purchase.

Tim – JellyLoad from The Future Was 8 Bit – A new and totally silly way to load games on your VIC20 has hit the sceene. Rod has put together a series of light snesors in a 3D printed case that hook up to the user port on the VIC20. Games are loaded by fixing the sensor pack on the screen and playing back specially recorded YouTube videos with a small box of flashing lights that the sensor picks up, you have a receiver program that you load up first on the VIC20 and it then picks up the light pulses and turns that in to 1’s and 0’s.
