Cheesehead Radio #347 | Queime a Torneira (Burn the Tape)
Episode 1823
jeudi 12 septembre 2024 • Duration 45:11
The Green Bay Packers dodge a bullet with Jordan Love's injury, but it still looks like the Pack will open up at home on Sunday with Malik Willis at quarterback. How bad is Love's injury, really, and what do the Packers have to do to win a game against the middling Indianapolis Colts? The CHR Gang is here with their post-Brazilian Wax-Poetic.

Packers Therapy #460 | Love Done? Whatcha Talking 'bout Willis?
Episode 1822
jeudi 12 septembre 2024 • Duration 01:14:10
The Packers couldn’t quite get it up—on the scoreboard, that is—against the Eagles in 2024. Chris and Dave's commentary is, as always, as ragged as the field in Sao Paulo. Fortunately, podcast devotees (i.e. Gambling Degenerates) share some cheeky limericks and haikus to take the edge off the sour opener, but nothing could distract from Jordan Love’s injury and a Packers performance that fell flaccidly flat.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to packerstherapy@yahoo.com and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

Packers Therapy #452: Packers Dead and Barry-ed in San Francisco
Episode 1729
mercredi 24 janvier 2024 • Duration 01:19:28
"When all the laughter dies in sorrow…” While the end of the Packers season is not as fraught as the Lance Rentzel memoir, it certainly stung. But why? Green Bay was playing with the proverbial “house money,” was it not? The post-season was a surprise gift, right? So, shouldn't this one be easily set aside as just a learning experience on the way to certain improvement next season and a string of playoff appearances thereafter? Like many Packers fans, Chris and Dave struggle with accepting the loss in that manner, knowing that the Niners game — and another appearance in the NFC Championship Game — was there for the taking…and that the future is far from certain.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: Chris and Dave plan to do a “Season Wrap” pod in a few weeks. The boys are tentatively scheduled to record that one the week after the Super Bowl, so look for it sometime after February 15.

Packers Weekly #25: Ugly End to a Beautiful Beginning
Episode 1728
mardi 23 janvier 2024 • Duration 01:15:34
Playing with house money. There's no pressure. We're not even supposed to be here. Right?
That sentiment was valid going into the 49ers game. As soon as we saw that the Packers could actually win the game, all of that went out the window.
If you're eager to compare this playoff loss to a previous playoff loss, look no further than the 2009 loss to the Cardinals.
The window is opening, not closing.
The Packers just went toe-to-toe with the bully of the NFC and will bring virtually the entire team back.
One of the best GMs in the league has more draft capital than he needs.
Nothing is guaranteed, but the future for this Packers team is as bright as any team in the league.
Let's have some fun this offseason, Packers fans!

LempsTalkinPack #159: Failure to Finish
Episode 1727
lundi 22 janvier 2024 • Duration 01:58:41
Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's heartbreaking 24-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. He tells you the main reason Green Bay saw its season come to an end in this one, namely, a failure to capitalize on multiple opportunities throughout the game. Failures that came in all three phases and he breaks down the struggles of each unit. He then takes questions and comments from listeners received via social media and email.

Cheesehead Radio #337: The Thin Line Between Love and Great
Episode 1725
jeudi 18 janvier 2024 • Duration 43:27
Jordan Love wasn't just good on Sunday as the Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs...he ended up with a perfect passer rating, as Aaron Jones ran for another 100+ yards and Joe Barry again salvaged his job for another season. No one expected this, but we all hoped and prayed for it. Now, the Cinderella Packers head to the next dance, this time to our playoff nemesis, the San Francisco 49ers. Will the carriage turn into a pumpkin this Saturday night? Listen in as CD, Kelly, and Jersey Al give you the news and views on this unexpected playoff run!

Packers Weekly #24: Could Jordan Love Be BETTER Than The Last Guy???
Episode 1724
mercredi 17 janvier 2024 • Duration 01:18:26
A dominant playoff win over the Cowboys probably has you asking yourself, "what is this Packers team actually capable of?". It appears they are capable of scoring on anyone, and Joe Barry is motivated to save his job.
Jordan Love posted the best QB rating in playoff history and is starting to make plays that have him looking like a top 5 QB already. Is it really possible that Jordan Love could turn out to be BETTER than Rodgers?
There's a LONG way to go before we can answer that question for sure, but if they win against the 49ers this weekend in San Francisco the question will get louder.

Packers Dominate, Reversing Cowboys with 'Niners Coming Next
Episode 1723
mardi 16 janvier 2024 • Duration 01:33:38
Packers fans unwrapped a late Christmas gift in the form of an overwhelming Green Bay victory over what appeared to be a stunned and stumbling Dallas team. Chris and Dave are beyond surprised, preferring instead to just lay back and enjoy it, particularly as a date with San Francisco is looming on Saturday night. While the ride may well be coming to a sobering impact with the wall of reality this weekend, the fellas are delighted with the way the Packers' season has rebounded after a 2-5 start and excited about what the future might hold in an increasingly competitive NFC North.
