Jen Crawford joins me this week on the podcast and she is someone that I have admired for years. Jen is a beautiful person and a beautiful speaker. She founded DoulaCare Ireland along with a lady called Mary Tighe which was the first of its kind in Ireland - a Birth and Post Partum Doula Agency. It has changed direction recently and has now become Doula Care Academy and they offer a wide range of courses to increase your knowledge and develop essential skills to help support you during your pregnancy, birth, and parenting journey. Jen is an Industry Leader in her field and has helped countless women and men become parents for the first time.

Jen has helped so many families with premature and sick babies as they walk a different path than expected in Temple Street and Crumlin. She has also experienced what it is like when things don’t go as planned when her beautiful daughter Kayla was born with a cleft palate. She gave everything she had to help Kayla as she had multiple surgeries and stays in hospital. Jens own health then started to decline after years in survival mode and she eventually was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Jen is unbelievably inspiring, and I feel so blessed to know her. Her honesty and authenticity online helped me when I became a mother for the first time. This is a heart opening conversation that I will treasure forever!

Becca listened to her intuition a few years ago, she followed her heart, and decided to leave the corporate world so she could give herself the headspace to really listen to herself. Becca completed a Masters in Mindfulness Based Interventions in UCD last year and she is now truly living her purpose!

Becca is so inspirational and today we talk about so much, the importance of giving yourself the gift of space to listen to your intuition, so we can hear the whispers of our soul, navigating grief and how helpful mindfulness can be on that journey, and the clarity that stillness can bring into our lives.

Mary Firestone is a Post Traumatic Growth Expert, has a Masters in Clinical Psychology, is the Author of a book that has been such a comfort to me – It is called Trusting The Dawn – How to Choose Freedom and Joy after Trauma. Mary is an inspirational speaker, a retreat leader, and a mom of two! She is a shining example of our soul’s ability to transcend trauma – it is a must read!

Mary survived the Montecito mudslide in Santa Barbara in 2018, where 23 people died, 150 people were injured, and a toddler and a teenage boy were never found. Today we talk about her healing journey, viewing traumatic events as growth opportunities, we talk about divine intervention which I also believe saved my life, psychedelics, viewing life changing events as initiations into a fuller, more illuminated and joyful life, and the importance of being intentional about who you surround yourself with.

Mickey Coleman is a true life miracle! His story is incredible and has helped so many including me! At age 41, Mickey suffered a widow maker heart attack shortly after returning from a 5km run. He died for 6 and a half minutes and had an outer body experience. Today we talk about his recovery, the power of the human spirirt, the healing energy music creates, the light within, and so much more.

He is a singer, songwriter, author, All-Ireland winning Tyrone football player and successful business man in New York!
