Today we review our most nostalgic Christmas Movies, of all-time! What are your picks?

"I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave" . . . Paul Donovan's 1983 action-thriller SIEGE--aka SELF DEFENSE, aka NIGHT WARRIORS, aka NEW YORK 1991--is inspired by the real-life Halifax Police Strike of 1981. The film features a lawless city, terrorized by a group of proud-boys, who target and kill the patrons of a LGBT club. One of the patrons escapes and finds refuge in the safety in the company Horatio (Tom Nardini) and his crew, who are willing to fight back. Rooftop chase scenes, shootouts, explosions, chaos, panic and Trailer Park Boys' Philadelphia "Phil" Collins (aka Rosie). This movie is a wild ride, do not sleep on this one!

This week is a real banger ... METALSPLOITATION! This is traditionally where heavy metal music appears, not only as the soundtrack, but is integral to the movie and characters' storylines. We discuss the history of where metal gets it "scary" from, and dive into the commonalities the two subcultures possess (no pun intended); and of course, list the most notable metalsploitation movies.

Deathtracks: Even without being a part of the storyline, metal music has home with horror movie soundtracks.

We would like to call this concept a RETROSYNC, where something new aligns with something nostalgic. After just watching Prano Bailey-Bond's debut film CENSOR, starring Niamh Algar--which is centered around the main character Enid Baines, who works as a film censor during The Video Nasties craze of the 80s Britain--this led us to thinking about what are our favorite Video Nasties to list and discuss?

We rank our Top Horror Movies of 1980, and also discuss some hidden gems you may have forgotten about! We almost align ourselves with our Top 5 list, but one slasher hacked their way into the Number 2 spot on Matt's list—Kyle just doesn't have a nostalgic attachment to this one like Matt does.
