NATRUE is a Brussels-based international non-profit association committed to promoting and protecting natural and organic cosmetics worldwide.

Since its inception, NATRUE has worked for better regulation of natural and organic cosmetic products and has actively advocated for an official definition of natural and organic cosmetics, which is very much needed to effectively combat greenwashing and misleading claims in the sector.

In this podcast episode, Dr. Mark Smith shares his insights from the natural and organic products scene and how certifications shape the standards of a safer and more transparent cosmetics industry.

Dr. Mark Smith is also on board the Expert Jury of the European Natural Beauty Awards 2024, and in the podcast episode, he shares his excitement about the evaluation process as well as the forthcoming awards ceremony organized on October 9, 2024.
