If you want to make more and work less, you NEED to start building a team around you. It's not an option. By delegating all the tasks on your plate to others, you free up more time to do more business. Plus you put great people in the right seats where everyone knows their roles.

But it all starts with making the very first hire, and committing to the process of determining who to hire in the future.
In this episode, Dustin Brohm discusses the importance of making your first hire as a real estate agent and building a team. He emphasizes that hiring a transaction coordinator should be the very first hire Real Estate Agents make, as a TC is a simple and affordable way to outsource all those countless administrative tasks.
He also encourages agents to identify the tasks they spend their time on and categorize them to determine which roles they can hire for. By delegating non-income producing activities, agents can focus on the tasks that generate business and ultimately build a successful real estate business.

How To Get More Referrals From Past Clients w/ Shannon Milligan

What percentage of your business comes from referrals? Are your referrals mostly agent to agent, or are they client to agent? Do they come from social media, or word of mouth? When establishing your credibility in the industry, you should ask yourself these questions. Getting referrals from past clients sounds tough on paper, but it's easier than you think (if you put the extra mile in). If you're not putting the extra mile in, take some notes.
On this week's episode of the Massive Agent Podcast, Realtor and founder of the RVA home team, Shannon Milligan, joins host Dustin Brohm to explain how 95% of the business she receives is from referrals. Shannon has prioritized using Facebook over other social media platforms to make it more interesting. Combining that with highly authentic posts, her sphere is genuinely interested in what she has to say. While it didn't come overnight, she stuck to her roots, thus creating a sense of comfort for her audience.
Listen to the conversation as Shannon details the small but meaningful touches she makes with her clients. From writing handwritten letters after inspections, to ordering pizza on moving day, Shannon has it down to a science, and her referral percentages show. However, once at the threshold, the first hires agents should make to their team is administrative help.

Dan notes that the biggest mistake made by Realtors is focusing solely on selling homes rather than growth and expansion. The reality is, that agents should be hiring and expanding at every opportunity they get.
