Deena & Cleena jump back in with a bang by submitting a formal apology to their book club before making history with our entrepreneur contestants. For the first time in podcasting history (probably, we will not do our own research) we bring a family together. Young punk musician, Conner C (Austin Williams), needs money to fund his emo album at Capitol Records and naturally the pitch leads to discourse on Minion butts. Then his divorced dad, Conner Sr. (Angela Giarratana), armed with a brash attitude towards women and a day job at Verizon, shares his dream to push Gnome merch and community around the globe. Then we call their references to do our due diligence and end on a heartwarming, Cats and the Cradle-esque collaboration.

Like the McRib sometimes, we're BACK! And with an announcement...the ladies will be traveling the world and country so going forward we'll be recording on Zoom. It's going to be so seamless and not complicated for us at all so you may not notice, but we're nothing if not honest on this show.

This week we still have amazing guests in studio slanging up some high concept and high yield pitches. First up, Ladybell Johnson (Nick Tiffany) is at war with The Rats and is in need of artillery. Then the aptly named entrepreneur with a chic mononym, Wood (Derek Mari), is out of the forest and looking to get in on the mystery series biz with his everyday program tackling society's small questions. The two then need to phone some friends in our new segment, Get Your References!

Where to begin - this one's got EVERYTHING! Romance, accents, necromancy critters, references to the Rachel haircut, and a game segment that almost immediately goes off the rails. Gemma Buckingham (Cameron Kelly) brings in a pitch for those in need of a second chance, and Darlene (James Jellin) has a plan to give all non-mother heathens a bundle of creepy crawly joy. Deena and Cleena do their best to conduct serious business but sometimes love just trumps all. Listen in to make this make sense!

Uh oh! This week the girls are absolutely swept away by the spirit of FEMINISM after meeting belly button activist Lorraine Kegel (Alexis Rhiannon) and legendary gossip hound Tina Tushy (Alex Bigelow). An absolutely electric generic game segment nets a shocking result that you just might have to tune in and LEAN IN to believe! 

By now Deena and Cleena are addicted to making shrewd investments and they can't be stopped! This week they bring in quadruple threat and aspiring American Idol contestant, Maxwell Star, to go against a friendless member of the renown Chest Family, Gregory Chest, who's desperate to have a dinner party. The two duke it out like age-old adversaries but by the end they're forced to telepathically mind-meld in our trademarked generic game segment. For what business purpose? You decide! 

Deena & Cleena unlock the gates and welcome in two new bona fide weirdos to make their case for an investment. This week we have Sheryl Straid (Lilliana Winkworth), not that one,  who has invented an audio smoke bomb of sorts to escape from awkward conversations. And Chip McGillicutty (Meredith Dillon) lays out their humble dream of performing on American Idol and enlists the ladies in a scheme to get around the pesky age limit of 28. All that and a game that gets our crew thinking like a family - definitely not sponsored by Olive Garden*. 

You thought this was a one episode podcast? WRONG! Cleena & Deena are back in their Toledo studio to hear two new amazing pitches. First up is Richard Caruso Jr. (Tao Yang), who is seeking frankly too much money for his extremely niche dating service. He's up against Byron Mace (Sunny Zimmerman), a Baltimore based entrepreneur that has partnered with their Uncle Buoy, a pillar of the scientific community, to engineer a novel sleeping aid for young children. It's anyone's game! Or is it? 

It's our first episode!!! Cleena and Deena open the doors to their top of the line studio and welcome in Trent Fishtaceaux (May Darmon), a veteran movie producer seeking financing for his vaguely familiar projects, and Zane the Lifeguard (Isabella Escalante), who has a novel solution to the problem of solitary surfing. And stick around to the end for our inaugural game segment and to see who is going to "weena" an investment!

We're back this week and we're so sorry we betrayed your trust of a weekly episode delivery! But Deena and Cleena have a reasonable and patriotic excuse which they address up top. Then it's right back to investing starting with Connie Mann (Avery Girion), a savvy southern lady who tries to hook up the gals with "lottery protection insurance" with a personal touch. Up against her is Cash Warren who wants $400K to live out a Stand By Me style fantasy with a splash of luxury. It comes down to the non-sponsored game "Not Really Strangers" where D&C (not Diet Coke, also not sponsored) ask core-cutting questions. Dive on in!

Deena & Cleena are back and almost immediately start talking Summer classics like leg hair and lemonade stands. Then Jersey Shore local, Parker Harbor (Alex Maystrik), comes in with a humble request to help finance the removal of a dastardly neighbor. He's up against "genuine guy", Dr. Pascal(Pablo Hernandez) who is the inventor behind an everyday device that tells you what percent racist you are - a wonderful minefield to tap dance around. And this week's deal breaking / making game is a series of intense, therapy-style questions (and spoiler, a side of role-play!) that cracks our guests wide open leaving their souls bare. It's hilarious!
