The Miami Heat blew a 13-point second half lead in Philadelphia, dropping their NBA Eastern Conference 7 vs. 8 Play-In Game to the 76'ers, 105-104, forcing a second play-in game Friday against the winner of the 9 vs. 10 matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls.

35 year-old Nick Batum nailed six three-pointers in the second half, and Joel Embiid took over down the stretch to drop the play-in game.

Making matters worse for the Heat, star Jimmy Butler had a big first half before hurting his right leg and not scoring at all late. 

Tyler Herro got hot late for Miami, scoring eight of his eighteen points in the 4th quarter, but it wasn't enough to overcome a cold-shooting night for the Heat, who could have put the Sixers away if they hadshot the ball well at all over the first three quarters. 

Bam Adebayo had 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Heat, who must win Friday night, or their season will be over without making the playoffs.

After being down by as much as 17 points and looking lost on offense, the Heat employed their zone defense effectively through the second half and ignited their offense - especially Bam Adebayo - to help take the lead. Clutch performances from Goran Dragic and Jimmy Butler helped seal 106-101 win to help Miami build a 2-0 lead in the series.
