3 Ways to Heal Your Relationship With Food in 2023

My Story : From Disordered Eating to Food Freedom

Welcome to the pod! On this first episode, I’m giving you an introduction into my life, my story and my history with disordered eating to help you understand the path I had to take to get me to where I am today.

  • How my time as a synchronized swimmer shaped my beliefs about body image & health 
  • How my fear of weight gain lead me to start dieting at 16 years old,  which eventually lead to many years of disordered eating (restricting, binge eating and food obsession) and developed into an eating disorder: orthorexia
  • When I hit my rock bottom, and what it took for me to start my healing journey
  • How booking a trip to Italy was one of the scariest things I’ve done, and why it became the catalyst to me healing my relationship with food and my body
    -Some of the most important lessons I learned through my own struggles with food & exercise
  • How starting my business lead me to a whole new set of challenges, forcing me to confront my own limiting beliefs and allowing me to become a better coach for my clients
