Emma Louise Thompson has been focusing on updates for the KAIROS 2 PRO Jiu Jitsu Grand Prix and very much preparing herself for competing. Emma's approach is to take each match as it comes, of which there are many. She started out with competitive Judo at age fourteen and has continued her growth in martial arts, testing herself through the ranks to now, as a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Emma favours the Gi from her Judo background, and she is very excited for the coin flip decision on KAIROS 2 were she may end up with No Gi matches. She has been training martial arts for 21 years, and has developed a mindset of hard work and resilience. Balancing her busy work and training schedule, as well as parenting is more easily managed with routine and focus.
Vivi Roustani will be flying in from Greece and is excited to win the KAIROS 2 Pro Jiu Jitsu £2k prize pot and will be eating nice food, and investing in future competitions. Vivi shares her expertise, and love for the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She has a mindset of always learning, and understanding her body, to notice how far she has come in her journey.

Daniel De Groot is ready for his Superfight with Tommy Yip at the upcoming KAIROS 2 event at EscapologyBJJ on 27th April 2025. Daniel has been training under the same coach since 2015, and uses signature moves such as Half Guard and Guillotine and Foot Locks.
Creating an exciting match is one of the many priorities for Daniel. Facing a familiar opponent in Tommy will bring some challenges, and he will have to find some secret alternate moves, over and above Foot Locks from his purple belts days.
Bringing Jiu Jitsu to everyone, as well as building a strong competition team is what Daniel focuses on when not in training camp. Creating a good game plan, as an everyday competitor is his great advice, and to regularly test the plan at competition. In addition to growing the academy, Daniel works with dedicated pro athletes at Haven BJJ on a daily basis.
Hayley Valentine is fresh back from her recent MMA fight in Miami, and is fired up and a very willing competitor for KAIROS 2. She has an incredible mindset as well an attitude that will bring excitement to every match.
Being in the under 55kg division, at the upcoming KAIROS 2 event looks to be as fun as it will be spontaneous. Hayley will be bringing her intensity, as well as her tenacity, knowing that she has all of the self-belief she needs to take the win. She has some incredible team mates around her, allowing Hayley to continue to improve all aspects of her game.
Francesca Lana is going to extreme lengths in her preparation for KAIROS 2.Whilst she is a confident professional athlete, Fran had some hesitations about coming onto the show. Doing hard things in life, really does enable you to grow! Being able to name moves, and replicate the art of Jiu jitsu has given Fran the confidence and positive mindset to continue competing.
Not having to work against strength, has changed Fran's perception of Jiu Jitsu. We talk about the holistic approach to the game, and having a diverse range of skills and abilities to keep things fun and entertaining.
