Jackast: A Jackass Podcast – Details, episodes & analysis

It's not "goodbye." It's more like "See you later!"

When we formed Jackast with the intention of reviewing every stunt in Jackass history, we never could have imagined the amount of support we'd receive, and the community which would develop around us.

From finding our voices in season 1, to welcoming thousands of new listeners with the mainstream release of Jackass: Forever, we've had an absolute blast digging into the show which informed so much of our childhoods.

But we've reached a point where we've reviewed all of the mainline Jackass content, and we wanted to step away for a hiatus as we wait and see what the future of Jackass looks like.

Make sure to stay subscribed, reach out to us on social media, and keep an eye out for future bonus episodes, check-ins, and potentially a full reboot if the Jackass crew announces a new project.

This week we're giving you a peak behind the curtains at Mikey's other podcast The Retrograde: A Video Game Podcast.

It feels like forever since we've sat down to review a Jacakss property, but this week we're starting our breakdown of Jackass 3D!

While we're ramping up to cover season 2 of Jackass, we wanted to get our feet wet with a peak into the Jackass Cinematic Universe!

With Season 1 of Jackass firmly in the rear view mirror, we decided to take a bit of a pit stop and cleanse our palates with some good old fashioned cringe-worthy Tom Green humour.

We've been very vocal about the influence Tom Green appears to have had on Jackass so far, so we were excited to get a swift reminder of just how awkward, drawn out, and hilarious he could be.

The reviews of each sketch may vary from host to host, but one thing is clear: it's impossible to watch this special and not laugh.

In this episode the crew takes a bit of a break from their poo jokes to focus on the subtleties of getting hurt, and throwing up.

Season One doesn't end on an incredibly high note, but it still has at least one very memorable sketch.

This week we realized there's only so much laughter we can take from Jackass Season One, so we decided to detour in order to break down Bam Margera's original CKY!

If it's been a while since you've seen this gem, we highly recommend finding a copy and re-watching it. It feels like a time capsule from a bygone era, and we had a blast running through it once again.

Keep in mind these stunts were all filmed BEFORE the original season of Jackass, so it's even more rugged than we remember, but intersection of skate videos and gnarly stunts was enough to leave us wanting more.
